Marble lamps
Bold veins, a cool sheen and geometric forms. Wall sconces and pendant lights made from natural stone.

What are marble lamps?
Marble lamps have a shade, disc or base made of natural marble. This stone has a dense structure and distinct veins; polished marble feels smooth and cool. Thin marble is gently translucent, so the veins stand out against a lit background when the lamp is on.
The veins follow a different pattern each time, giving every lamp its own design. Selected fittings can be made in a different marble colour to suit your interior project.

White, black or green marble?
Marble colour shapes the lamp more than its form. White with dark veins looks classic and bright; black creates a strong contrast, while green adds a deep, less common accent.
| Colour | Character | Pairs well with |
|---|---|---|
| White | light background with grey or dark veins | white, beige and gold fittings |
| Black | deep black with lighter veins | modern interiors and black fittings |
| Green | intense, less common, distinct pattern | dark wood and copper fittings |
How to recognise natural marble
- Veins vary in thickness and direction, without a regularly repeating pattern.
- The stone feels cool and is noticeably heavier than plastic.
- Two lamps of the same model always have different veining.
- A thin shade lets light through and reveals its veins from within.
How to choose marble lighting for your room
Marble has a strong presence, so it works best as an accent in a few places: wall sconces by the bed or in a hallway, or a pendant above a table. Leave the main lighting to a ceiling light or chandelier.
Bedroom
A pair of marble sconces beside the bed. White feels calm; black contrasts with light bedding.
Hallway and hall
Several evenly spaced sconces. Side light brings out the stone veins.
Dining room and kitchen
Marble pendants in a row above an island. The shade bottom usually hangs 75-90 cm above the top.
Living room
Sconces beside a fireplace or shelving as evening light alongside a ceiling lamp.
Rules of thumb in numbers
- 150-170 cmCentre of the sconce above the floor in living rooms and hallways.
- 75-90 cmGap between the table top and the bottom of the pendant.
- 60-75 cmDistance between the centres of pendants in a row.
- 2700-3000 KWarm light that keeps white marble from looking cold.
Marble, alabaster or travertine?
All three are natural stones, but each interacts with light differently.
- Marble
- Dense and hard, marble transmits less light than alabaster. Thin shades are translucent and reveal contrasting veins; thicker forms glow at the edges. The most graphic of the three.
- Alabaster
- Transmits light through the whole shade. A warm, soft glow with veins visible when lit. Alabaster lamps
- Travertine
- Porous stone in earthy tones. The lamp shines down and around the stone, while travertine shows its texture. Travertine lamps
Which light for a marble lamp?
Warm 2700-3000 K LED light softens the cool stone. Our marble lamps use G9, E27 and E14 sockets as well as integrated LED modules. The light source is listed on the product page.
How to care for marble
- Wipe with a dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth.
- Avoid vinegar, lemon juice and acidic cleaners: they dull the stone.
- Before cleaning, switch off the lamp and let it cool.
- Marble is harder than alabaster, but protect it from knocks.
Custom lamps and support for architects

Questions about marble lamps
Does marble transmit light?
Less than alabaster. Thin marble shades become translucent when lit and show the veins; thicker forms shine mainly at the edges and from below the shade.
How does marble differ from alabaster?
Marble is a hard carbonate rock with distinct veins and better scratch resistance. Alabaster is a soft variety of gypsum that transmits much more light and glows through the whole shade.
How much does a marble lamp cost?
Marble sconces start from 192,00 €, pendants from 208,80 €. Half of all marble models start below 260 €. Prices as of October 2026.
Which marble colours are available?
Most models use white marble, followed by black and green. Selected fittings can be made in another stone colour to order.
How do I clean a marble lamp?
Switch off the lamp, let it cool and wipe the stone with a dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth. Avoid vinegar, lemon juice and acidic cleaners.
Can a marble lamp be installed in a bathroom?
Our marble lamps are for indoor use. Do not install them in shower or bath zones. If you plan bathroom lighting, write to us before buying and we will suggest a model.
Will the lamp look exactly like the photo?
Shape, size and fittings will match. The veins will differ because each part is cut from another piece of stone. This is a feature of natural marble, not a defect.
How long does marble lamp delivery take?
In-stock lamps are dispatched within 48 hours. Made-to-order models take 4-5 weeks. We also ship to other EU countries; available countries and delivery costs are shown in the basket.
What warranty do marble lamps have?
Every lamp has a 3-year warranty, including LED light sources. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. You have 14 days to notify us of a return. Free return shipping applies only from Poland, by arrangement with our team.
Not sure which model to choose?
Tell us about the room and the ceiling height. We will suggest a model, size and finish.
