Frequently Asked Questions

How does an alabaster floor lamp look when turned on?+
When turned on, an alabaster floor lamp changes into a light sculpture - the stone begins to glow from within with warm, honey light, showing a network of natural veins and layers. The effect is hypnotic, especially in a darkened living room or bedroom. Turned off, the lamp is an elegant, cream sculpture. Turned on - a glowing totem that gives the interior an exceptional atmosphere.
Is an alabaster floor lamp stable?+
Yes - natural stone has considerable mass, which makes the floor lamp made of alabaster stand extremely stable. The heavy, massive base provides a low center of gravity, and felt pads protect the floor. The lamp will not tip over from a light bump. With children or pets, it is worth placing it in a corner or against a wall, which additionally reduces the risk of tipping.
Where to place an alabaster floor lamp?+
It looks most beautiful next to a sofa, a reading armchair, in the corner of the living room or at the entrance to the bedroom. An alabaster floor lamp creates a warm point of light that attracts attention and organizes space. It also works great as an element dividing an open space - at the boundary of the living room and dining room. Avoid sunny places where the beauty of stone sparkle will not be visible.
What is the height of Lumiesta alabaster floor lamps?+
Our alabaster floor lamps are 80 to 160 cm tall. Lower models (80-100 cm) serve as accent lamps placed on the floor next to furniture. Taller models (120-160 cm) serve as full-fledged zone lighting, giving light at the eye level of a seated person. We provide exact dimensions in the product card of each lamp.
How to care for an alabaster floor lamp?+
Regularly dust the lamp with a soft, dry cloth - more dust accumulates on the floor than on the ceiling, so cleaning weekly is recommended. Do not use water or detergents. If a small scratch appears on the stone, you can gently sand it with fine-grained sandpaper (400+) and secure with stone wax.
Does the Lumiesta alabaster floor lamp have an attached cord?+
Yes, each floor lamp is delivered with complete wiring - a power cord 200-250 cm long with a plug and foot or in-line switch. Just plug it into an outlet. Some models have a built-in touch dimmer, allowing you to regulate the intensity of light with one touch. Information about this is in the product description.
