Alabaster Collection - Natural Stone Lamps with Warm, Honey Glow

The Alabaster Collection is Lumiesta's flagship lighting series, including a complete line of lamps made of natural alabaster - a stone that transmits light, creating a warm, honey glow with a unique pattern of veins. Here you will find alabaster chandeliers, pendant lights, sconces, flush mounts, table lamps and floor lamps - everything you need for a complete, cohesive arrangement.

Alabaster - Material That Comes to Life Under the Influence of Light

Alabaster is one of the few natural stones that transmit light. Turned off, it presents itself as a cream-white or honey sculpture. When turned on, it reveals its second face - a network of veins, shading and discoloration hidden inside the stone. This is an effect that cannot be achieved with any artificial material. Natural stone lamps made of alabaster have been valued for thousands of years - from ancient Egypt to the most modern interiors.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Alabaster Collection at Lumiesta include?+
The Alabaster Collection is a complete line of lighting made of natural alabaster, including chandeliers, pendant lights, sconces, flush mounts, table and floor lamps. Each element of the collection has a cohesive aesthetic - warm, cream-honey stone with natural veins, set in minimalist metal frames. Thanks to this, you can illuminate the entire house in one, organic style.
Why is alabaster so valued in lighting design?+
Alabaster is one of the few natural stones that transmit light. When the bulb is turned on, the stone glows from within with warm light, revealing unique veins and layers. This effect - soft, diffused light with a honey color - is impossible to achieve with any artificial material. Alabaster was valued already in ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia as a material for oil lamps.
Do lamps from the Alabaster Collection suit a modern interior?+
Yes - our alabaster lamps have minimalist, contemporary forms that fit beautifully into modern interiors. Natural stone in a simple, geometric fixture creates a fascinating contrast between the organic nature of the material and the purity of form. Alabaster warms even the most raw, industrial spaces, adding soul and natural beauty to them.
How to combine different types of lamps from the Alabaster Collection?+
A classic composition is an alabaster chandelier in the dining room, alabaster sconces in the corridor, an alabaster flush mount in the bedroom and an alabaster table lamp on the bedside table. Such material consistency creates a cohesive, harmonious interior. However, you do not have to use alabaster everywhere - you can combine it with travertine, brass or glass, maintaining a natural, organic character.
Does alabaster in each lamp from the collection look the same?+
No - and this is the beauty of natural materials. Each block of alabaster has a different arrangement of veins, shade (from cream to honey) and degree of translucency. Lamps from one collection are united by style and form, but the stone in each is unique. We try to select pieces with similar coloring when ordering several lamps, but subtle differences are inevitable and desirable.
What is the return policy on the Alabaster Collection?+
All lamps from the Alabaster Collection are covered by a 14-day return policy without giving a reason. You can order a lamp, see how it presents itself in your interior, and if it does not meet expectations - return it free of charge. Please check our Returns policy for eligibility, deadlines and return arrangements. See our Shipping page for delivery options and the current free-shipping threshold. We pack each lamp carefully and insure it for the full value.
