Alabaster Flush Mounts - Warm Stone Glow on a Low Ceiling

Alabaster flush mounts are an ideal solution when you are looking for the beauty of natural stone in a compact, flat form. Alabaster mounted directly on the ceiling glows from within with a warm, honey light - the entire flush mount disc becomes a natural diffuser, diffusing light softly and evenly. This is one of the most striking lighting solutions for rooms with low ceilings.

Alabaster Flush Mount for Bedroom, Wardrobe and Hallway

In the bedroom, an alabaster flush mount gives warm, soft light conducive to relaxation - with a dimmable bulb you can adjust brightness to the mood. In the wardrobe, it provides even lighting without taking up valuable space. In the entrance hall, it welcomes guests with natural, warm glow. A profile of 8-15 cm means the flush mount does not visually lower the room. Compare with travertine flush mounts (raw texture) and marble (luxurious smoothness).

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does an alabaster flush mount give such exceptional light?+
Alabaster is translucent - when mounted on the ceiling and turned on, the entire flush mount disc glows from within with warm, honey light, revealing the natural veins of the stone. The effect resembles a natural shade diffusing light softly and evenly. No artificial material reproduces this effect - this is a unique feature of alabaster, valued since ancient Egypt.
What size of alabaster flush mount to choose for my room?+
For a room up to 10 m², a flush mount with a diameter of 25-35 cm is enough. For a room 10-15 m² we recommend a diameter of 35-45 cm, and above 15 m² - 45-60 cm or two smaller flush mounts. Too small a flush mount will be invisible on the ceiling, and too large can overwhelm a small room. In the product card we provide the exact dimensions and recommended room size.
Is an alabaster flush mount suitable for a low ceiling?+
This is even an ideal solution for low ceilings! Alabaster flush mounts have a profile of only 8-15 cm, so they do not visually lower the room. Unlike chandeliers, which require a minimum hanging height, a flush mount can be installed almost flat to the ceiling. The soft light of alabaster additionally visually enlarges the room, reflecting from the ceiling with a warm glow.
How to install an alabaster flush mount?+
Installation of an alabaster flush mount involves screwing the metal base to the ceiling (using plugs and screws), connecting the electrical wires and attaching the alabaster disc to the base - usually by means of screws or spring clips. The whole operation takes an electrician 20-30 minutes. We provide a complete mounting kit and instructions.
Can an alabaster flush mount be used in a bathroom?+
Alabaster is sensitive to moisture, so an alabaster flush mount in the bathroom should only be installed outside the shower zone (zone 2 or 3) and in a well-ventilated room. Check the IP rating of the specific model. In the dry part of the bathroom, an alabaster flush mount creates a unique, spa-like atmosphere that transforms daily ritual into a luxurious experience.
Are Lumiesta alabaster flush mounts unique?+
Each alabaster flush mount is made of natural stone with a unique arrangement of veins and discoloration. Even two flush mounts from the same series will subtly differ - this is a feature of natural stone, not a defect. This uniqueness makes your flush mount one of a kind, which makes it a special element of your interior that cannot be copied or repeated.
