Travertine Flush Mounts - Raw Stone Elegance on Your Ceiling

Travertine flush mounts are discreet but striking ceiling lighting made of stone with a unique, porous texture. Mounted directly on the ceiling, they do not take up valuable vertical space - ideal for rooms with low ceilings. A travertine flush mount combines functionality with raw wabi-sabi aesthetics, introducing a natural, stone accent to the interior, which delights even when turned off - as a sculptural ceiling decoration.

Travertine Flush Mount for Bedroom, Corridor and Bathroom

In the bedroom, a travertine flush mount creates an intimate atmosphere with warm light directed downward. In the corridor, it gives the atmosphere of a Mediterranean villa. In the bathroom, it adds a natural, spa-like character. A profile of only 8-15 cm means the flush mount does not visually lower the room. Compare with alabaster flush mounts - alabaster transmits light through, travertine directs it through structural openings.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a travertine flush mount look when turned on?+
A travertine flush mount, when turned on, creates a warm, stone disc effect on the ceiling, from which gentle light spreads downward. The porous texture of the stone gives the fixture a sculptural character - natural cavities and unevenness of the stone generate subtle shadows and textures. Turned off, it looks like an elegant, architectural ceiling decoration, which makes it attractive at any time.
Is a travertine flush mount heavy?+
Travertine flush mounts weigh from 2 to 5 kg - travertine, thanks to its porous structure, is lighter than marble of the same dimension. This is a weight fully safe for standard concrete ceilings. On plasterboard ceilings, use PB plugs appropriate for the weight (we provide weight information in the product card).
Which rooms does a travertine flush mount suit?+
A travertine flush mount works great in the bedroom, corridor, wardrobe and hallway - wherever the ceiling is low and you need discreet but striking lighting. In the bathroom (provided it has the appropriate IP rating and is mounted outside the shower zone) it adds a raw, spa-like atmosphere. The natural character of travertine harmonizes with organic interiors.
Does a travertine flush mount require special care?+
A flush mount mounted on the ceiling accumulates less dust than table or floor lamps. Just wipe it gently with a dry cloth or feathers once a month. Avoid water and chemicals. The factory impregnation protects the stone from dirt penetration. This is one of the least demanding lighting elements in terms of care.
Which bulbs to use in a travertine flush mount?+
We recommend LED bulbs with a warm color of 2700-3000K and a power of 7-12W (equivalent of 60-75W) - depending on the size of the room. Warm light emphasizes the cream shade of travertine. In the bedroom, opt for a dimmable bulb to be able to regulate the intensity of lighting. The type of base (E27 or GU10) is indicated in the product card of each flush mount.
Can a travertine flush mount be installed on a sloped attic ceiling?+
Yes, flush mounts thanks to their flat profile are great for sloped ceilings. The mounting structure allows installation at an angle. In the attic, a travertine flush mount looks particularly impressive - natural stone on a sloped ceiling creates the impression of a Mediterranean grotto or stone villa. Make sure that the mounting point is within reach of the electrical installation.
