Orbetello - cone-shaped alabaster pendant light

Cone-shaped alabaster pendant light

The pale alabaster cone looks different from a plain white shade: irregular beige and honey-coloured veins run across its surface. In Orbetello, this free-flowing stone pattern sits alongside the warm tone of copper and distinctive chain links, giving the light a slightly old-fashioned charm.

Why choose this light

• Copper adds visual warmth to the white alabaster, complementing wooden furniture, cream cabinet fronts and ceramics.
• With a diameter of 23 cm, you can plan a single fitting above a small table or several in a row above a longer island.
• When the light source reaches the end of its life, you can replace it while keeping the stone shade and the rest of the fitting.

Design and materials

The shade widens towards the bottom, while the contoured metal mount accentuates its narrow top. A chain of oval links leads to a round ceiling rose; it remains a visible part of the design rather than blending into the background. The geometric outline gives the shape structure, but the stone’s surface is not uniform. Natural alabaster has its own individual veining, so no two pieces will be identical.

Light and comfort

When switched on, light passes through the alabaster, bringing out its veining and giving the surface a soft glow. The open bottom of the cone also allows light to fall directly onto the space below. You can choose the colour temperature and brightness through your choice of replaceable light source. For evening meals, choose a compatible warm-white light source - a white shade does not in itself mean cool light.

Where it fits

• Above a small dining table - the 23 cm diameter brings a stone accent into everyday life without the expansive structure of a chandelier.
• In a row above a kitchen island - repeated cones create a rhythm along the worktop, while the copper elements can be paired with handles and other details in warm metal tones.
• Above a coffee table in a classic living room - the chain and contoured mount suit furniture with traditional lines; with a light height of 120 cm, plan its position away from walkways.

Variants

• Colour: Copper and White. This version gives you greater flexibility in matching the model to your interior’s colour scheme.
