Alabaster pendant light, shade ø: 23 cm; overall height: 120 cm (can be shortened during installation)

The brown leather strap with buckles is just as important here as the shade itself. In Capalbio, a pale alabaster cone hangs beneath a dark suspension, while copper connections highlight its construction - this light is worth admiring above the light source too.

Why choose this light

• The 23 cm diameter offers flexibility in your layout: hang a single fitting over a smaller table, or arrange several along an island.
• Soft light passes through the alabaster, bringing out the stone’s irregular pattern.
• When the light source reaches the end of its life, you can replace it without replacing the entire light.

Design and materials

The conical shade widens towards the bottom, creating a distinct counterbalance to the narrow leather strap. Cream streaks and veining are visible on the white alabaster surface; each piece has its own stone pattern. The brown leather contrasts strongly with the pale shade, while the buckles and hooks remain a visible part of the construction. Copper elements beside the shade and a round ceiling rose complete the form with warm-toned details.

Light and comfort

The alabaster walls soften the light passing through them, while the open bottom of the shade allows light to fall directly onto the surface below. When lit, the differences between the lighter and darker areas of the stone become more apparent. The light colour depends on the replaceable light source you choose - for relaxed evenings at the table, select a warm white bulb compatible with the fitting. A white shade does not therefore mean cool light.

Where it works

• Above a dining table - the small shade suits an intimate dining area, while the brown strap echoes leather chair upholstery.
• Above a kitchen island - several fittings arranged in a row create a repeating rhythm of pale cones along the worktop, particularly alongside wood and classic cabinet fronts.
• Above a coffee table - stone, leather and copper complement a living room featuring natural materials; when planning the suspension, allow for the light’s height of 120 cm.

Variants

• Colour: Brown and White and Copper. This configuration changes the look of the fitting in a subtle but noticeable way.
