A flush mount is a lighting fixture mounted directly on the ceiling, adhering flush to it. Unlike chandeliers or pendant lights, a flush mount does not hang down and does not take up vertical space. This is an ideal solution for rooms with low ceilings, corridors and bathrooms where space saving matters while maintaining beautiful, even lighting.
Which flush mount to choose for the bedroom?+
For the bedroom we recommend alabaster or travertine flush mounts, which give soft, diffused light conducive to relaxation and falling asleep. Choose a model with a diameter of 30–50 cm and a power corresponding to a 40–60W traditional bulb. It is worth using a dimmable bulb to be able to dim the light in the evening. A warm color of 2700K fits perfectly into the intimate atmosphere of the bedroom.

How to install a flush mount on a suspended ceiling?+
Installation of a flush mount on a plasterboard ceiling requires the use of special PB plugs (e.g. butterfly type) or installation to a reinforcement in the ceiling structure. For heavier stone flush mounts (over 3 kg) we recommend installation to a load-bearing profile or an additional wooden insert hidden behind the panel. If in doubt, consult an electrician.
