Slender arms spread out beneath the ceiling, with rounded alabaster shades at their ends. Burgos makes a distinct presence overhead without hanging low: every version is just 18 cm high. This alabaster ceiling light owes its decorative character to its wide-reaching form and the pattern of the stone, rather than a bulky structure.

Design and materials

Viewed from below, the light reveals an arrangement of thin, straight arms grouped around a small central mount. Their geometric lines contrast with the flattened, rounded shades. The construction combines copper with alabaster, whose natural veining varies from piece to piece - no two have exactly the same pattern. The copper and white version brings a warm metallic tone, while the black and white version makes the lines of the arms stand out more strongly against a light ceiling.

Light and comfort

Alabaster transmits and diffuses light, revealing the stone’s subtle tonal variations. It is therefore the rounded surfaces of the shades at the ends of the arms that glow, rather than a single central shade. If you want cosy light in the evening, choose replaceable light sources with a warm colour temperature - the white colour of alabaster does not itself mean cool light. Use the same colour temperature in every light so that the whole composition glows consistently.
