Design and materials

Up close, you can see the fine pores of the stone and the grain of the wood: the surfaces have their own texture rather than a uniform colour. The travertine is light with a yellowish tone, while the wooden elements are a deep walnut brown. In the low version, the stone ring extends the composition outwards; in the tall version, the vertical cylinder dominates. Metal completes the structure, but visually, stone and wood take precedence.

Light and comfort

The shade is open at the bottom: light escapes through the opening rather than through the stone wall. The 2700 K colour temperature provides warm light for dinner and evening relaxation, without a cool white tone. The fitting supports dimming, so you can lower the brightness after a meal; when choosing a replaceable light source, make sure it is compatible with dimming. In the low version, the bulb may protrude below the stone rim, so it is worth choosing an opal bulb, which diffuses light more softly than a clear one.
