During the day, the stone’s deep pores and grooves are its most noticeable features. In the evening, light escapes through the irregular openings, echoing their pattern on the wall. Gubbio uses this effect in a small, angular form with a dark base, designed to be viewed up close.

Design and materials

The shade is roughly cuboid in shape, but its surface is far from smooth or uniform. Light and comfort
