Alabaster branch chandelier

Instead of a solid mass beneath the ceiling, a slender, angled line with pale, oval shades. The Scansano alabaster chandelier resembles a branch stretched above a tabletop, with stone forms positioned alternately above and below the copper arm. Six lengths, from 78 to 200 cm, allow you to adapt this composition to anything from a small table to a spacious kitchen island.

Design and materials

The metal arm changes direction through several gentle bends and is suspended from two slender, vertical rods. Rounded, slightly egg-shaped shades are arranged above and below the arm, breaking up the regularity of the horizontal line. Every size retains the same colour scheme: white alabaster and a warm copper tone. Up close, the stone’s veining and subtle tonal transitions draw the eye. The pattern differs in each piece, so two fittings share the same form but differ in detail.

Light and comfort

Light passing through the alabaster shades is diffused, bringing out the stone’s delicate pattern. Whether the light is warm or cool depends on the chosen light source, however, not the copper finish. If you are planning relaxed evenings at the table, choose compatible warm white light sources.
