A slender metal arm extends downwards, curves gently back up and leads to an alabaster cylinder. This elongated loop gives Casole its slim profile: although the fitting is 60 cm high, much of the wall remains exposed. Design and materials

Grey and warmer beige streaks cross the milky background of the alabaster, breaking up the regular shape of the cylindrical shade. The round wall plate sits to one side, making the composition asymmetrical despite being built from simple elements.
