Slender alabaster cylinders and golden arms resemble a wall-mounted candle holder, but here the light passes through the stone. Saturnia retains a height of 30 cm in both versions, with different widths and numbers of lights. You can therefore choose a narrow accent beside the bed or a broader arrangement for the wall beside the sofa.

Design and materials

The copper structure has a gold-coloured finish with a visible, irregular texture. Flat arms contrast with the cylindrical shades and round backplate, which features concentric circles. Narrow brackets hold the stone from below and at the sides, leaving most of its surface exposed. Greyish veins are visible against the milky alabaster background, giving the pale cylinders depth even when the light is switched off. Each piece has its own natural stone pattern, so two fittings hung side by side will not be identical.

Light and comfort

When switched on, the shades become glowing forms, with the veining remaining visible on their surface. Alabaster diffuses the glow, but the light colour depends on the replaceable light source you choose. For evening relaxation by the sofa, look for a light source compatible with the fitting with a warm colour temperature of 2700 K, rather than cool white. This model is best planned as side lighting beside a bed or seating area, complementing the lighting in the rest of the room.
