Design and materials

Guarda is based on the combination of two timeless materials: natural alabaster and metal in a warm brown finish. The alabaster shade has a subtle, flake-like stone pattern – the photos show delicate “snowy” veining that makes each piece visually unique. This organic pattern beautifully softens the light, giving it depth and softness.

The fixture is balanced: a 38 cm diameter provides presence without overwhelming. The slender rod draws the eye upward, organizing the composition and completing the minimalist form. Light and comfort

Alabaster acts as a natural diffuser: it disperses light, softens shadows and reduces point glare. Selection tips

• Above the table the rule of thumb usually applies: the fixture diameter should be about 1/2–2/3 of the tabletop width. Ø38 cm pairs well with tops about 70–100 cm wide.
• For comfortable conversation hang the lamp so its lower edge is usually 70–90 cm above the table – the light illuminates the table without dazzling.
• For a longer island or table consider two units; leave an equal, clear distance between them to achieve consistent, even lighting.
