Design and materials

Ghiaccio is a composition of many glass discs mounted on a subtle, nickel-plated frame. The result? A visually light chandelier that, despite its richness of form, does not overwhelm the space. The transparent orange glass gently transmits light, and each disc catches and diffuses it slightly differently – in the photos you can see how this creates a play of reflections and layers. Nickel adds a modern, distinct contour; the orange warmly “animates” cooler palettes (whites, grays, navies) and pairs beautifully with natural wood.

Selection tips

• Lamp diameter vs table: for round tables a lamp with a diameter of about 1/2–2/3 of the tabletop usually works well – leave a comfortable margin around the edge.
• Suspension height above the table: typically 75–90 cm from the tabletop to the bottom edge of the lamp provides good light and eye contact between people.
• Room height: for standard ceilings choose ∅ 50 cm and shorten the chain; for higher ceilings choose ∅ 58 cm and a slightly longer suspension to emphasize proportions.
• Light character: when choosing LED bulbs, opt for a warm color (e.g. 2700–3000 K) if you want maximum coziness. If you plan to dim, choose dimmable sources and consult the electrician about the equipment.
