Design and materials

Cortina is built from multiple rows of glass tubes suspended around a metal body. This arrangement creates the effect of a light curtain – visually “airing” the form while still providing a clear, decorative presence above a table or in the center of a room. In the photos you can see glass elements with a clear, subtly textured surface that gently refract rays and create a luminous, soft pattern on the walls.

• Metal body in gold or nickel finish (also listed in the body finish specification as Nickel and Copper).
• Glass tubes in the “Transparent” version – clean, fresh light – or in the moody “Red Cloud” when you want to add a distinctive note to the interior.

The proportions are considered: a fixed, comfortable diameter Ø66 cm organizes the composition of the space, and two heights to choose from (68 or 75 cm) let you match the vertical profile of the lamp to ceiling height and the character of the interior – from lower living rooms to tall halls.

Light and comfort

Cortina shines evenly and softly. The glass tubes act as natural diffusers – they scatter and “calm” the light, so:

Small tip: when choosing the lamp height, think about how you want to “draw” the vertical in the room – the lower body (68 cm) is more discreet, the higher one (75 cm) accentuates the zone more strongly.

Selection tips

• Over a table 140–180 cm the Ø66 cm looks proportionate and does not dominate conversation. On a smaller table it keeps lightness; on a larger one it becomes an elegant center.
• In lower rooms choose the lower height (26.8″), in higher rooms the 29.5″ so the form plays better with the space.
• If warm textiles and brass dominate the scheme – go for “Gold & Transparent”. Minimalist, cool palettes feel better with nickel.
