Design and materials

CartagenaX is the essence of warm modernism in a practical form. A rectangular, solid walnut base “anchors” the shape to the wall, bringing a natural, noble texture into the interior. Mounted on it is a cylindrical reflector of black travertine – a stone with a distinctive, slightly porous surface that plays beautifully with light. Travertine is formed in nature, so each piece has a unique pattern and nuances – a fully authentic detail in the interior.

The reflector is attached to the base with an elegant brass swivel joint. This small, golden accent adds lightness and highlights the handcrafted character of the lamp. The ensemble is completed by a discreet pull chain with a black tip, which references classic solutions and, in practice, simply makes operation easier.
