Tubular alabaster wall sconce

A metal band divides the slender tube into two illuminated sections, forming a vertical line on the wall. Uzes is 33 cm tall, without widely spread arms or a large shade. Choose white glass for an even white surface, or alabaster for a visible stone pattern.

Why choose this light

At 8 cm in diameter and 33 cm tall, the fitting has slender proportions for a spot beside a bed, mirror or wall panelling.
A replaceable light source lets you choose its colour for the room and change it when it wears out.
Six combinations offer a choice of glass or stone with copper, brushed nickel or matt black metal finishes.
Hardwired installation and a 230V supply let you plan the wall sconce as a fixed side light.

Design and materials

Rounded tube ends soften the vertical outline, while a layered metal band marks its centre. The construction uses copper, with three metal finishes available. White alabaster has a natural stone pattern that differs in each piece. The white-glass version emphasises the shade’s outline and contrast with the metal.

Light and comfort

The white shade diffuses light; in the alabaster version, illumination reveals the stone structure. Choose the light colour through the replaceable source. For evenings beside a bed or sofa, look for a compatible warm source, such as 2700 K. Check the listed 40 W power and compatibility with the bulb holder. Before mounting, check its height from a seated position to suit how you use that part of the room.

Where to use it

Beside a headboard, where the vertical form provides side lighting and leaves the bedside table clear.
Beside a sofa, adding wall light without placing a lamp on the floor or a table.
In a hallway with decorative mouldings, where a 33 cm tube can echo vertical wall frames.
On either side of a hallway mirror, where a pair makes a symmetrical composition and the metal finish can match the mirror frame.
