Ternika - Alabaster pendant lamp, modern, 1-light | Ø12,5x35 cm / Ø15x38 cm

Why this lamp?

• Natural alabaster - gently diffuses light, creating a cozy atmosphere and reducing glare.
• Slender proportions - a compact diameter (12,5 or 15 cm) with a taller body gives a light, elegant effect even in smaller rooms.
• Metal fixture - solidity and precise finishing that pair well with modern décor.
• Dimmable - easily adapt the mood to the time of day and occasion (with appropriate equipment and light source).
• Neutral color palette - the combination of black metal and white stone makes it easy to match many color schemes.

Design and materials

Ternika combines natural alabaster with a subtle, unique texture and a metal fixture in a contemporary design. The milky stone form visually “softens” the light, while metal details give the whole piece discipline and a contemporary character. The slim shape, noticeably taller than its diameter, makes the lamp look light and elegant - alone, in pairs, or in a row of three.

The contrast of black and white works to your advantage here: black organizes the composition and sharpens the line, while the white of the alabaster introduces softness and calm. Because of this, Ternika does not dominate the space but complements it - both in a minimalist living room and in warmer, more natural arrangements.

Light and comfort

Alabaster acts as a natural diffuser. Instead of a harsh spot you get a evenly distributed glow that favors conversation, relaxation, and everyday tasks. This light is comfortable for the eyes, as the material disperses the beam and reduces the risk of glare. When you use dimming, you can switch from bright, functional lighting to a cozy mood with a single motion - ideal for the evening.

Where it fits

• Dining room - one lamp over the center of the table as an elegant accent, or two-three in a row over a longer surface for even illumination.
• Kitchen island - hang several pieces at equal intervals to combine decorative appeal with practical function.
• Living room - to light a reading nook or as a subtle point light above a side table.
• Study/office - calm, focused light that doesn’t tire the eyes during work.
• Hallway - a rhythm of two-three fixtures adds elegance and order to the space.

Tip: when choosing suspension height, ensure the bottom edge of the shade does not obstruct visibility and free conversation at the table, and that the light does not reflect directly into eye level.

Variants

• Diameter 12.5 cm x Height 35 cm - a subtle, slender accent; great for narrower counters, above a console, or in multi-point compositions.
• Diameter 15 cm x Height 38 cm - a slightly more expressive form; alone over a round table or as the main accent in a seating area.
• Variant color: Black and white - the contrast of metal and alabaster, easy to combine with other materials (wood, stone, fabrics).

Selection tips

• If you want to keep the interior light, choose the 12,5 cm variant; if you need a stronger accent - go for the 15 cm.
• Over a longer table or island, two-three lamps spaced evenly work better than a single central one.
• In narrow circulation areas (hallway) the slim form doesn’t overwhelm, and a rhythmic arrangement adds elegance.
• Match the color temperature to the function: warmer light favors relaxation, more neutral light suits work and meal preparation.
