Alabaster and brushed copper meet here in a form with a height of 18 cm – a form that does not compete for attention with the rest of the room, yet changes the evening mood. The stone filters light so that after dark the wall receives a warm glow rather than a sharp point. Sitges fits well into places where scale matters: above a bedside table, in a hallway, next to a mirror.

Why this lamp?

Alabaster as a shade: the beam passes through the stone and loses its sharpness, so the fitting gives soft light even with a stronger light source.
The height of 18 cm allows you to plan a pair of fittings even on a narrow section of wall, for example between a mirror, door and shelf.
Brushed copper is a metal with a matt, directional grain that does not reflect light as sharply as a polished finish.
Permanent installation with a 230V supply, i.e. connection to a standard wall lighting point.

Design and materials

The form is compact: a short metal body and a stone element that, at a height of 18 cm, carries more visual weight than its dimension suggests. Brushed copper has a matt grain – you can see fine machining lines rather than mirror-like reflections. Alabaster is its opposite: light, slightly translucent, with veining that shows best at an angle to the light source. It is a natural stone, so the arrangement of veins and translucent areas is different in every piece, and your fitting will have no twin.

Light and comfort

Alabaster does not diffuse light evenly like milk glass: it leaves a delicate irregularity, thanks to which the glow looks alive rather than flat. For this fitting, it is best to choose a light source with a warm colour, around 2700 K – in the evening it creates a mood close to candlelight, without the effect of an underlit corner. If the wall light is to be used for reading, choose a colour temperature of 3000 K and slightly higher power, and the warm tone of the stone will soften its sharpness. The supply is 230V, so you connect the fitting to a standard installation, without additional modules.

Bedroom, symmetrically on both sides of the bed – a height of 18 cm allows the fitting to be positioned low, so that the light falls on a book rather than into your eyes.
