Will this size fit?

Compare the whole arrangement with your table, not just one shade. Small pendants can form a group; a single one lights a smaller area. Check the number of shades in the selected variant and the suspension length in the specifications. Start around 75-90 cm above the tabletop and check sightlines.

Black-and-white loft pendant lamp with alabaster for the living room, Ø28/40 cm

Are you looking for a lamp that both warms the interior and adds a refined character? The Scalara model combines natural alabaster with an elegant metal finish to create soft, even light and a sculptural accent that “makes” the whole arrangement. It’s a choice for those who want eye-pleasing light and a form that draws attention-without excess.

Why this lamp?

Natural alabaster → subtly diffuses light, creating a cozy atmosphere and reducing glare.
Two diameters (Ø28 or Ø40 cm) → easily match proportions to a table, island, or seating area.
Two body finishes (Gold or Black) + white shade → adjust the lamp’s character to the interior style.
Integrated LED and color temperatures 3000K/4000K/6000K in the specification → exactly the mood you need.
Adjustable suspension up to 150 cm → convenient installation in both standard and higher spaces.

Design and materials

Scalara is inspired by cosmic geometry - a round alabaster disc and minimalist metal finish form a shape that is both modern and timeless. The natural veining of the stone makes each piece unique: delicate veins and subtle clouds visible in the photos vary depending on the slab of alabaster, adding nobility and “life” to the lamp.

Shade: white alabaster - unconventional, natural, with a beautiful, semi-translucent texture.
Body: metal in two finishes (black or gold) - black builds a modern contrast, gold brings a touch of luxury and warms the arrangement.
Proportions: the compact Ø28 cm version looks light and discreet, the Ø40 cm version is more pronounced and perfectly emphasizes the room’s focal point.

The combination of metal and stone creates a tactile, noble surface and makes the lamp a decorative element on its own-no extra ornaments required.

Light and comfort

Alabaster acts as a natural diffuser: it transmits light softly and evenly, making the space atmospheric and easy on the eyes. Integrated LEDs provide a stable, comfortable output-without visible light points or harsh shadows.

Light color: the specification offers 3000K (warm), 4000K (neutral), 6000K (cool) - easily match the character of the lighting to the function of the area. Warm promotes relaxation, neutral aids concentration, cool highlights minimalism.
Works with a typical wall switch - direct control, no apps or complex settings.

The result? Light that builds atmosphere without glare and emphasizes the texture of materials in your interior.

Where it fits

Dining room: hang the Scalara centrally over the table - the stone will provide a soft glow that beautifully “frames” meals and gatherings.
Kitchen island: one over a smaller counter or two over a longer island - achieve cohesive, comfortable lighting for cooking and socializing areas.
Living room: over a coffee table or in the seating area the lamp will act like jewelry-subtle but distinctive.
Hallway, study: a single fixture introduces elegance without overwhelming the space.

Practical tip for selection: choose the lamp diameter that is visually proportional to the width of the table or countertop - the smaller (Ø28) emphasizes minimalism and adds lightness, the larger (Ø40) more strongly defines the arrangement’s center.

Variants

All Scalara variants have a white alabaster shade and integrated LED. You choose:

Size:
∅ 28 cm x Height 31 cm - compact, great for smaller tables, islands, and reading nooks.
∅ 40 cm x Height 45 cm - a more pronounced accent for larger tables and living rooms.
Color:
Black and white - modern contrast, ideal for lofts, minimalism, and interiors with dark accents.
Gold and white - an elegant warming, pairs well with wood and warm textiles.
Light color (variants on the site): Warm.

Choosing the size and finish lets you balance proportions and mood-match the lamp to the room’s scale and style.

Selection tips

For a round table Ø80-100 cm a Ø28 cm lamp usually works well; for tables Ø110-140 cm the Ø40 cm is more often chosen.
On a kitchen island: over a shorter counter place one Ø40 cm; over a longer one - two Ø28 cm placed symmetrically.
If you want a warmer, cozier atmosphere in the living room or dining room, choose 3000K; for the kitchen or study 4000K is often better.
Hang so as to maintain a comfortable height above the countertop and clear sightlines to conversation partners; the 150 cm cable makes ideal adjustment easy.

Time to decide

Choose the size, color and light color that will best play in your space-and see how the natural glow of alabaster will transform the atmosphere of your interior.
