Roux - Retro alabaster wall sconce - brass, white or black - Length 27/47cm

Looking for a light that will warm the space and add a refined accent without dominating the décor? Roux is a wall sconce made of natural alabaster that brings the soft glow of stone and the elegance of metal into the interior-exactly when you need mood, cohesion, and order on the wall.

Choose the proportions (27 or 47 cm) and the finish (brass or black with white) to easily match the lamp to the style of the living room, bedroom, hallway, or dining room.

Why this lamp?

Natural alabaster - softly diffuses light, creating a cozy atmosphere and reducing glare in everyday use.
Two distinct sizes - 27 cm for smaller walls and narrow zones, 47 cm when you need a stronger decorative accent and better proportions on a larger surface.
Finish options - brass warms and adds luxury, black organizes and emphasizes a minimalist line.
Practical E14 base - use popular, energy-efficient LED bulbs, matching color temperature and wattage to the zone’s function.
Consistency throughout the home - one model works great solo, in pairs above a sideboard, or in a sequence down a longer corridor.

Design and materials

Roux combines natural white alabaster with metal in a brass or black finish. The shade with a 15 cm diameter has a clean, geometric form, and the smooth metal finishes convey a sense of high quality and order. Alabaster - a stone-like, subtly translucent material - gives the light depth and softness. It’s a detail you notice immediately in photos: there’s no harsh “spot” of light, but a calm, even glow.

The proportions of the two heights (27 cm and 47 cm) allow you to treat the sconce either as a discreet light point or as a slim, decorative “band” of light that organizes the rhythm of the wall and gives it an architectural character.

Light and comfort

Natural alabaster acts as a soft filter: it disperses the beam and softens contrasts, so the light does not dazzle the eyes and creates a pleasant mood at any time of day. The E14 socket allows the use of an LED bulb in your preferred color temperature-warmer for relaxing in the living room and bedroom, neutral for hallways or circulation areas. The result? Consistent, comfortable lighting that serves as atmospheric background or an elegant accent.

Where it fits

Living room - a pair of sconces on either side of a sideboard or sofa organizes the composition and lights evening routines.
Bedroom - use on both sides of the bed as an alternative to bedside lamps; you’ll gain more surface space and a calming atmosphere.
Dining room - on the wall along a long table it creates an elegant, even backdrop for conversation.
Hallway and staircase - a sequence of several sconces guides the eye and helps orientation after dark.
Kitchen - on a free wall next to the work area or island it adds warmth and a “homely” finish.

General tip: the smaller height (27 cm) is for discreet illumination and order on narrower walls; the larger (47 cm) better “holds scale” in taller rooms or on longer surfaces.

Variants

Finishes - choose the character to match your interior:

Brass and white - warms, adds luxury, and pairs well with wood and light beiges.
Black and white - a strong contour for minimalist and modern interiors, organizes lines and contrasts.

Sizes - keep the right proportions:

Diameter 15cm x Height 27cm - compact for narrow zones, lower walls, and paired mounting above furniture.
Diameter 15cm x Height 47cm - a slim, decorative accent for larger surfaces, for rhythmic sequences in a corridor or dining room.

Selection tips

Match the sconce height to the wall scale: 27 cm for compact zones, 47 cm when you need a more pronounced vertical accent.
Choose the finish to suit the base palette: brass for warm tones and wood, black for cooler, modern arrangements.
When planning multiple pieces, maintain a regular rhythm and uniform mounting height - the space will feel cohesive and orderly.
For relaxation areas opt for a warmer LED color temperature in the E14, for circulation paths consider neutral - visual comfort will be noticeably better.

Select the color and height that best complement your wall and furniture, and add Roux to the cart - see how the natural glow of alabaster changes the room’s atmosphere from the very first evening.
