Ponta Delgada

Looking for a wall accent that adds class to your interior while providing soft, atmospheric light? Ponta Delgada combines the elegance of glamour and Art Deco with functionality - it introduces a warm glow, organizes the space and highlights details without being flashy or glaring.

This is a wall sconce that “makes an impact” - in the living room, bedroom or an impressive hallway - and at the same time harmonizes with the rest of the arrangement thanks to well-proportioned design and a refined bronze finish.

Why this lamp?

Five slender arms with shades directed upwards provide multipoint, evenly diffused light - ideal for creating ambiance.
The refined, bronze metal finish adds a touch of glamour and warms the feel of the interior.
White-finished shades filter the light - you get a soft, cozy glow without harsh hotspots.
Compact form (Ø24 x 37 cm) makes it easy to fit the sconce on most walls, including narrower passages.
A standard G9 base and AC 110-240V power supply give freedom in choosing the light source (including LED).

Design and materials

Ponta Delgada is the essence of refinement in a wall-mounted version. From an ornamental central rosette in a bronze finish extend five gently profiled arms, topped with upward-facing shades. Art Deco inspirations are visible in the harmony of the curves, symmetry and elegant, jewelry-like metalwork.

Body: metal with a bronze finish - durable, resistant to the effects of time and fashionable in glamour, modern classic and contemporary interiors with a vintage touch.
Shades: white, subtly translucent - softly diffuse light, creating a pleasant, enveloping atmosphere. When the lamp is lit, you can see a gentle, “creamy” aura without harsh transitions of light and shadow.

Proportions (diameter 24 cm, height 37 cm) make the sconce look like a sculptural detail - striking but not oversized. It works great in pairs (on either side of a mirror, bed or dresser), but also impresses solo, becoming an elegant focal point on the wall.

Light and comfort

The upward-facing shades direct the light toward the ceiling and wall, which naturally reflects and softens it. As a result:
- you get a cozy, diffused glow - ideal for evening relaxation or as “background” light,
- you avoid glare in the line of sight - important in seating areas, by the bed or in corridors,
- it’s easy to create layered lighting by combining the sconce with a ceiling or table lamp.

The G9 bulb base lets you choose color temperature and brightness according to the room’s function. If you opt for dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer, you can create a smooth transition from atmospheric twilight to brighter light for daily tasks.

Where it fits

Living room: hang on both sides of a painting or shelving - the sconce will emphasize wall texture and add depth to the overall arrangement.
Bedroom: a pair of Ponta Delgada above bedside tables provides warm, comfortable light for reading and relaxing, while freeing up surface space on the nightstands.
Hallway and entry area: rhythmically placed sconces build elegance from the threshold and provide pleasant wayfinding after dark.
Dining room: on the wall adjacent to the table they create a feeling of the space being “enveloped” - a great pairing with a ceiling lamp when you want to dim the light over the table and leave a soft background glow.
Office: discreet, non-glare illumination improves comfort when working at a computer by balancing screen contrast.

Variants

Size: ∅ 24 cm x Height 37 cm - a compact yet expressive format for living rooms, bedrooms and corridors.
Color: Bronze - a noble, warm finish that pairs beautifully with wood, beiges, creams, greens and stone.

Selection tips

Mount the sconce so the center of the fixture is typically 150-165 cm from the floor; at the bedside, adjust the height so you can comfortably look below the bottom edge of the shades.
In the bedroom and living room plan lighting in layers: Ponta Delgada as mood lighting + a ceiling or table lamp for tasks requiring higher brightness.
In corridors space the sconces approximately every 2.0-2.5 m (depending on wall color and bulb brightness) to achieve an even rhythm of light.
If you value full mood control, choose dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer - it’s easier to match the atmosphere to the time of day and occasion.

Choose the Bronze finish and see how Ponta Delgada brings a soft, elegant glow and compositional order to your wall.
