Orro - Modern alabaster wall sconce, gold-and-white for the living room, 55x15x15 cm

Looking for a light that brings a calm, warm atmosphere to the interior while emphasizing the character of the design? Orro combines the softly diffused light of natural alabaster with a refined, geometric form. It’s a detail that organizes the space and adds elegance - without excess and without compromising comfort.

Why this lamp?

Softly diffused alabaster light - creates a cozy ambience and reduces glare.
Symmetrical, balanced composition of two “halos” - order on the wall and a timeless effect.
Slim format 55 x 15 x 15 cm - a striking accent that doesn’t dominate the room.
Two metal finishes (gold or brown) - easy to match to style and color palette.
G9 (LED or Edison bulb) - choose the power and character of the light to suit the room’s function.

Design and materials

Orro is a pure, sculptural form: two spherical alabaster shades float within metal rings, joined by a slim horizontal arm. The gold or brown metal tone warms the composition and beautifully contrasts with the white stone. The natural veining of the alabaster is subtle and unique, so each piece looks like a small work of art.

The proportions are deliberately balanced: 55 cm in length gives a comfortable “breathing” space between the two shades, and 15 cm depth retains a light presence on the wall. The symmetrical “halos” create a rhythm that works both as a single accent and in groups - along a corridor, beside a mirror or by a seating area.

Light and comfort

Alabaster acts as a natural diffuser - it disperses light evenly and softly. In practice this means:
- a pleasant, ambient glow without harsh hot spots,
- eye comfort during evening relaxation,
- discreet accent lighting that enhances textures and colors in the interior.

The fixture is compatible with G9 lamps - you can use LED bulbs or so‑called Edison bulbs to tailor the power and character of the emission to the intended role (mood, functional, or indirect). Dimming information: depends on the chosen lamp and installation (no data on the fixture’s native dimmability).

Where it fits

Living room: a pair of sconces on either side of the sofa or fireplace will create a coherent, elegant light axis and add depth after dark.
Hall and corridor: rhythmically placed “halos” organize a long wall and introduce soft guiding light.
Bedroom: a single fixture on each side of the bed as a subtle alternative to bedside lamps; above a dressing table - light that doesn’t glare.
Dining area or day zone: on the wall near the table/console - creates an elegant setting for gatherings and dinners.
Home office: discreet background lighting that supports focus without overexposing the screen.

In each of these roles Orro provides a “soft frame” effect for the space - highlighting important spots and guiding the eye without excess luminance.

Variants

Size:
Length 55 cm x Width 15 cm x Height 15 cm - an ergonomic format that works solo and in multiple compositions.
Color:
“Gold and white” - a warmer, jewelry-like accent; great for interiors with brass, beiges, and warm wood.
“Brown and white” - a more subdued, noble tone; a good choice for greys, charcoals, black and natural stone.

Choose the finish that harmonizes with handles, mirror frames or other metals in your interior - it’s an easy way to achieve cohesion.

Selection tips

Planning a pair of sconces? Position them symmetrically around a central point (sofa, fireplace, mirror) - you’ll achieve a coherent rhythm and a sense of order.
Install so the shades remain outside the line of sight when seated - the light will be soft and non-dazzling.
In a long corridor, repeat the fixture at equal intervals - an even light rhythm leads the eye and improves spatial ergonomics.
Want to control the mood? Choose dimmable G9 sources and a control solution compatible with your installation (no data on the fixture’s native dimmability - decide at the stage of selecting bulbs and accessories).

Choose the “Gold and white” or “Brown and white” finish, plan the mounting location and see how the soft glow of alabaster immediately warms your interior. Add to cart and bring into your space a light that truly works for you.
