Design and materials

Oaxara delights with its proportions and detail. The shade is a cone tapering downwards made of yellow travertine - a stone with a deep, natural structure that subtly “works” in the light. This organic material beautifully contrasts with the dark, slender metal arm, and the whole is mounted on a solid walnut-colored base. At the top of the shade there is an accent in the form of a wrapped “collar” with a rope texture - a small detail that adds warmth and a handcrafted character.

A diameter of 12 cm and a height of 17 cm give the lamp a neat, balanced profile. It doesn’t overwhelm but is visible - especially against a smooth wall, textured plaster, concrete or wood. In a pair on both sides of a bed’s headboard it creates a coherent, symmetrical composition; in a row along a corridor or stairwell it guides the eye and organizes the space.
