Monty - Minimalist Alabaster Wall Sconce

Looking for a light that warms a space, emphasizes textures and brings order to an interior without excess form? Monty is a minimalist wall sconce made of natural alabaster and brass that introduces calm, elegance and a pleasant, softly diffused glow. Its slim proportions harmoniously complement an arrangement rather than competing with it.

Why this lamp?

Natural alabaster - a semi-translucent stone that softly diffuses light, creating a cozy atmosphere and reducing glare.
Brass, gold details - add a refined accent and warm the perception of modern spaces.
Slim 36 cm form - visual order on the wall; the sconce does not overwhelm and elegantly draws a vertical line of light.
LED compatible - energy-efficient and comfortable for everyday use.
Versatile applications - from living room and bedroom to hallway and dining area; easily composes in rows and pairs.

Design and materials

Monty is a pure, minimalist form built on the combination of two noble materials: alabaster in white and brass in a gold finish. The vertical, slim shade with a 9 cm diameter and 36 cm height creates the impression of a subtle column of light on the wall. The natural veining of the stone introduces a lively, organic pattern of light - each piece is visually unique, which adds authenticity and class to the interior.

Metal elements in Gold / Brass provide an elegant frame for the alabaster, reinforcing the sense of precision and high quality. The proportions are considered: the lamp is compact enough to fit in narrower wall sections, while still expressive enough to serve as a decorative accent. The result is a cohesive, timeless detail that elevates the entire arrangement.

Light and comfort

Alabaster acts as a natural diffuser: it scatters the beam, giving soft, atmospheric light and a subtle gradient on the wall. Instead of a harsh point of light you get a gentle glow that encourages relaxation, conversation or evening winding down. This solution is ideal as accent lighting or layered lighting - it complements general lighting well and allows you to create lighting scenes suited to the time of day and mood.

Where it fits

Living room - a pair of sconces on either side of a shelf, fireplace or TV creates an elegant frame and warms the seating area.
Bedroom - mounted on both sides of the bed it replaces bedside lamps, providing a calm, non-glare light for reading and relaxing.
Hallway - a rhythm of several pieces structures a long wall and safely illuminates the circulation path.
Dining room - on the wall by the table it creates a soft backdrop for gatherings; it pairs with a ceiling lamp into a cohesive composition.
Kitchen or study - discreet zonal lighting that doesn’t distract but brings focus and order.

Variants

Gold + White - Diameter 9cm x Height 36cm - an elegant, universal color duet. The slim format fits above a bedside table, in narrow wall sections and in compositions of multiple sconces in a row.

Tips for choosing

Hallway rhythm: for a row of sconces plan spacing of about 1.5-2× the fixture height (approx. 55-70 cm) to achieve an even, calm layout.
Seating area: install symmetrically on either side of a sofa or sideboard - light from both sides organizes the composition and increases comfort.
Beside the bed: position the center of the shade roughly at eye height when seated so the light is soft and not glaring during reading.
Layering: treat Monty as accent lighting; combine with general lighting to freely change mood and brightness levels throughout the day.

Ready to change the atmosphere?

Choose the Gold + White variant in size Diameter 9cm x Height 36cm and see how Monty’s natural alabaster and gold details bring warmth, elegance and ordered light to your interior.
