Compare the whole arrangement with your table, not just one shade. Small pendants can form a group; a single one lights a smaller area. Check the number of shades in the selected variant and the suspension length in the specifications. Start around 75-90 cm above the tabletop and check sightlines.

Modern Trapeze 28 cm pendant lamp in black

Looking for a light that both organizes the space above your table and adds character to the interior? The Trapeze 28 cm answers that need: it provides precisely directed, comfortable light and introduces an elegant, modern black accent that suits many styles.

It looks light and works cleverly - it lets you direct the beam in two opposite directions, so you can easily illuminate what matters: the tabletop, the conversation area, or a wall decoration.

Why this lamp?

Two light directions - you position the light to illuminate the table and the adjacent area at the same time, without additional fixtures.
Matte black and clean lines - an elegant, modern look that doesn’t dominate but organizes the room’s composition.
Aluminium + acrylic - a lightweight construction, durability and pleasantly diffused light thanks to the acrylic shade.
Practical push switch - quick, convenient everyday light control.
E14 and LED - compatibility with common bulbs, so you can easily choose the color temperature and wattage to suit the room’s function.

Design and materials

The Trapeze 28 cm is a modern take on a minimalist pendant lamp. The matte black finish emphasizes clean proportions, and the trapezoid-inspired geometry gives the form a sense of lightness. The aluminium body maintains a slim silhouette that doesn’t visually weigh down the space, and the acrylic shade acts as a soft diffuser - visually organizing the point of light and softening contrasts.

A refined detail stands out: the textile cord (approx. 150 cm), which adds elegance and subtle softness. Thanks to this, the lamp pairs well with both wood and stone in Scandinavian interiors and with raw concrete or steel in an industrial vibe.

Light and comfort

The greatest strength of the Trapeze is the ability to direct light in two opposite directions. In practice this means greater flexibility: part of the beam can work task-wise (e.g. over the tabletop), while the other part builds background and depth in the room. The acrylic shade gently diffuses light, reducing harsh shadows and limiting glare - a comfort you’ll appreciate during long dinners or when working at the table.

The E14 socket gives freedom in bulb choice. Choosing LED brings energy efficiency and the ability to match color temperature: a warmer tone (approx. 2700-3000 K) creates a cozy, homey atmosphere; a neutral tone works well for reading or working.

Where it fits

Dining room - hang centrally above the table, direct one beam to the tabletop and the other toward the wall or display cabinet. You’ll gain convenient light for meals and a pleasant background for conversations.
Kitchen island - use the Trapeze solo above a compact island or in pairs above a longer counter. Direct light task-wise to the prep zone and gently toward the traffic area.
Living room - above a coffee table or in a reading nook. One light for the book, the other more diffused to build atmosphere.
Corridor / study - in narrower spaces the two light vectors balance shadows and visually widen the passage.

Selection tips

For a table 120-160 cm long, one centrally hung lamp with a diameter of about 28-30 cm is usually sufficient.
Above an island 140-180 cm long, two such fixtures spaced evenly look good so the light doesn’t overlap too much.
Maintain 70-85 cm from the tabletop to the bottom edge of the lamp - a comfortable height for conversation and work.
If the interior has dark finishes, choose a lighter color temperature and a higher-powered LED bulb to compensate for light absorption by materials.

Final effect

You’re choosing a lamp that combines intelligent light direction, solid materials and timeless aesthetics in matte black. Pick the size variant and introduce light into the interior that works exactly where you need it.
