Lucien - Modern ceiling light, 30/40/50 cm, black‑gold flush mount

Looking for a light that will evenly illuminate a room while adding class without overwhelming it? Lucien combines the soft glow of natural alabaster with the elegance of a black‑gold finish and a very low profile so your interior is bright, coherent and refined.

This is a flush mount that brings order to a space: discreet, modern, suited to lower ceilings and demanding interiors where proportions, material quality and everyday comfort matter.

Why this lamp?

Soft, atmospheric light thanks to the alabaster shade - pleasant for the eyes, ideal for relaxing and daily activities.
Low profile (H 5.5 cm) - a great choice for hallways, bedrooms and living rooms with lower ceilings.
Modern black‑gold character - a black frame and brass create a timeless combination that suits many styles.
LED and selectable color temperature - choose warm or cool light to match the room’s function and mood.
Three diameters (30/40/50 cm) - easily scale the fixture to the room size and the area you want to illuminate.

Design and materials

Lucien is a minimalist disc of light where natural alabaster takes center stage. The white, subtly veined slab of stone gently diffuses the beam, creating a cohesive, elegant lighting effect. The rim and details in brass introduce a warm, golden accent, while the black frame organizes the form and adds modern discipline.

Proportions are thoughtfully considered: the slim height of 5.5 cm keeps the flush mount close to the ceiling, not competing with the décor while still giving it presence. This lighting doesn’t dominate - it unifies the space and highlights its character.

Light and comfort

Alabaster acts as a natural diffuser - it disperses light evenly across the surface, producing a cozy glow without harsh contrasts or spotty “blobs.” Choosing warm light promotes relaxation and builds atmosphere in resting areas; cool light adds energy and clarity of detail - practical for work, chores or circulation zones.

So you have one aesthetic and two moods to choose from - pick the light that best fits your daily plans, the time of day and the room’s function.

Where it fits

Living room - central, even lighting for the seating area; 40 or 50 cm works well for larger floorplans and open spaces.
Dining room - mounted above the table the flush mount introduces a calm, soft glow; select the diameter according to the table width and distance from walls.
Kitchen / island - a bright, clear background for general lighting; consider a larger diameter over an island if the space is wide.
Bedroom - warm light provides a “soothing dome of light,” ideal for winding down before sleep.
Hallway and foyer - the low profile doesn’t overwhelm, and the uniform light guides the eye and organizes the circulation route.
Office - cool light boosts concentration, while alabaster reduces eye strain during extended work.

Variants - choose scale and mood

Diameter 30cm × H 5.5cm - a compact option for smaller bedrooms, studies, hallways or as zonal lighting.
Diameter 40cm × H 5.5cm - the most versatile choice for a standard living room or a dining area for 4-6 people.
Diameter 50cm × H 5.5cm - an impressive disc of light for larger day spaces and open-plan areas.

Light color: Warm or Cool - build the mood according to the zone’s function.
Variant color: Black - the black frame organizes the form; brass details add a golden, elegant accent.

Selection tips

For smaller rooms and narrow hallways a 30 cm diameter is usually sufficient; aim for 40 cm in standard rooms, and choose 50 cm for larger living areas.
Above a table choose a diameter that does not exceed the table width; leave a visual “margin” around the table’s outline.
If you want a cozy feel in the relaxation zone, opt for warm light; for work and circulation - choose cool light.
Low ceiling? The low profile H 5.5 cm helps maintain visual lightness and freedom of movement.
