Goralith

Looking for a light that both warms a space and gives it character? The Goralith wall sconce combines natural black travertine with walnut wood, creating a distinctive yet calming accent on the wall. It’s a detail that sets the mood: it helps build coziness, highlights textures, and introduces an elegant, modern restraint to the interior.

Why this lamp?

Natural stone, unique pattern - black travertine has distinctive pores and veins that add depth and authenticity to the interior.
Walnut warmth - the walnut wood element balances the coolness of the stone, making the sconce suitable for modern, loft, and Japandi interiors.
Convenient control - use a standard wall switch or the discreet pull chain (50 cm) when you want to quickly change the mood without searching for a switch.
Universal E26/E27 socket - choose an LED or Edison bulb exactly for the mood you want to achieve.
Compact format - 18 cm diameter and 10 cm height make installation easy even where space is limited.

Design and materials

Goralith is based on simple, highly refined proportions. The round plate of black travertine forms the backdrop - it draws the eye with a subtle natural pattern. On its axis sits a cylindrical walnut wood element that houses the light source and adds a pleasant, furniture-like finish. Metal details discreetly tie the composition together, and the pull chain becomes a functional accent with a slightly industrial character.

This combination is intentional: the stone brings solidity and timelessness, the walnut - softness and a homely atmosphere. As a result, the sconce looks good both on a raw concrete wall and against light plasters or wood. You don’t need extra decoration - the travertine texture is a small work of nature by itself.

Light and comfort

Goralith works the way you design it - everything depends on the bulb you use:
- Opal/matte LED will provide gently diffused light that doesn’t glare and pleasantly “calms” the scene.
- Edison bulb will emphasize a loft character, outlining decorative filaments and creating an atmospheric glow.

The fixture works with standard wall switches, and the additional pull chain (50 cm) allows quick on/off locally - practical by the bed, in a hallway, or by a mirror. If you want dimming, choose a dimmable bulb and a compatible wall dimmer.

Where it fits

Bedroom - a pair of sconces beside the bed frees up bedside surfaces and provides soft reading light. The chain makes operation easy without getting up.
Living room - mark a seating area, illuminate a picture or niche. Travertine plays beautifully with fabrics and wood.
Hallway and stairs - a rhythmically repeated Goralith organizes circulation paths and adds refinement.
Dining room - as accent wall lighting, e.g. by a sideboard or a gallery of pictures, it brings warmth and builds atmosphere for evening gatherings.

Tip: in places where you frequently reach for the light (e.g. by the bed), mount the sconce so the pull chain is easily accessible and the bulb does not shine directly into the eyes - this gives maximum comfort.

Variants

Size: ∅ 18 cm x Height 10 cm - a compact ideal for pairing and for narrow walls, it doesn’t overwhelm small rooms.
Color: Walnut wood and black travertine - a finish that combines the warmth of wood with the depth of stone; it pairs easily with black, graphite, brass, and natural beiges.

Selection tips

If you want coziness, choose a warm-colored LED bulb - it will work with the walnut and emphasize the travertine texture.
Edison bulbs work great for decorative purposes - especially in loft and industrial arrangements.
When planning several sconces in a row, maintain a consistent rhythm relative to wall bays, niches, or pictures - the space will look harmonious.
Install so that the light source does not shine directly into the eyes when seated or standing; in the bedroom, set the height for comfortable access to the pull chain.

Ready for a light that sets the mood and adds character to your interior? Choose the “∅ 18 cm x Height 10 cm, Walnut wood and black travertine” variant and bring Goralith into your project.
