Galapagos - Alabaster Conical Wall Sconce, colors, 12×25 cm

Do you need light that doesn’t glare but creates atmosphere and organizes space? Looking for an elegant accent that easily matches your existing finish palette? The Galapagos sconce combines natural alabaster and refined metal to introduce a soft, cozy glow and a clear yet timeless detail to the interior.

Why this lamp?

Natural alabaster - the semi-translucent stone subtly diffuses light, warming the atmosphere and reducing glare.
Compact proportions (12 × 25 cm) - you can easily fit it where other fixtures are too bulky: by the bed, in a narrow hallway, next to a mirror.
Three metal finishes - Antique Copper + White, Gold + White, Black + White; match it to fittings, handles and accessories.
Minimalist cone - a clean form that organizes the wall and adds visual calm to the interior.
Versatile character - works well in the living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen and hallway, solo or in pairs.

Design and materials

The shade, shaped as a slender cone, is made of natural white alabaster. The photos show delicate veining characteristic of the stone - these veins filter the light in a soft, “textile-like” way. The smooth volume without unnecessary details looks light and modern while bringing a touch of handcrafted refinement to the interior.

The metal supporting elements are available in three finishes. The Gold accent introduces warmth and references brass, Antique Copper adds a cozy patina and depth, and Black emphasizes the lamp’s minimalist, graphic line. The proportion of the shade (12 cm diameter) to the height (25 cm) ensures the sconce doesn’t overwhelm but is sufficiently distinct to serve as an elegant point on the wall.

Light and comfort

Alabaster works with light like a matte fabric: it diffuses it evenly, softens edges and builds a calm mood. This is light that encourages relaxation, conversation and daily activities - without harsh contrasts or tiring reflections. The sconce is excellent as layered lighting: it complements a ceiling lamp, defines a reading area or highlights wall texture.

Where it fits

Bedroom - on both sides of the bed as an alternative to bedside lamps; frees up bedside table surface and provides atmospheric light for evening reading.
Living room - next to the sofa or armchair creates an intimate corner; paired symmetrically it flanks a sideboard or artwork.
Hallway / staircase - rhythmically guides the eye and gently illuminates circulation routes.
Entrance hall - by the mirror it provides soft, flattering light for the face.
Dining room and kitchen - accents niches, shelves or the wall above a sideboard, adding depth to the interior.

Finish options

Antique Copper + White - warm, slightly muted copper; ideal for cozy interiors with wood and textures where you want a subtle patina.
Gold + White - elegance and a touch of shine; pairs beautifully with handles and knobs in gold/brass tones.
Black + White - a pronounced outline and modern character; a strong counterpoint to light walls and minimalist arrangements.

Selection tips

Match the metal to the hardware in your interior (handles, knobs, mirror frames) to achieve a cohesive effect.
When planning a pair of sconces by the bed or sideboard, keep symmetry relative to the axis of the furniture or artwork - the space will immediately look more “put together”.
In a hallway, place sconces at a regular rhythm to guide the eye and evenly complement the main lighting.
Want coziness? Choose a warm light color in the bulbs you use - alabaster will beautifully enhance it.

Choose your variant

Select the finish that best complements your interior - Antique Copper + White, Gold + White or Black + White - and add the Galapagos sconce to your cart to introduce the soft, natural glow of alabaster into your home.
