Design and materials

Fontenia is a minimalist black ring with transparent, lightly textured glass discs arranged around it. This detail makes the difference: when light passes through the glass it creates soft reflections and a characteristic, “jewel-like” sparkle without overwhelming the space. The black finish of the body gives the fixture a contemporary, lofty edge and pairs beautifully with light stone, wood or concrete. The proportions are refined — 15 cm height makes the lamp hover like a thin, luminous horizon, not visually weighing down the ceiling.

The materials are solid and noble: brass (frame) and glass (discs). Combined with the black body finish, you get a fixture that looks as good up close as it does from across the room — and it’s easy to pair with other metals (brushed steel, chrome, black accents).

Selection tips

• For a round table, choose a lamp with a diameter about 1/2–2/3 of the tabletop diameter (e.g., for a 120–140 cm table, Ø 80 cm often works well).
• Maintain an optimal distance from the tabletop: usually 70–90 cm from the top edge of the table to the bottom edge of the lamp.
• In taller rooms hang the lamp a bit higher so the light spreads more evenly across the living room; lower it if you want to create a cozy zone above the table.
• For large, open spaces choose a larger diameter (Ø 100 cm) so the proportions don’t “disappear” in the scale of the room.
