Evora

Are you looking for a wall sconce that will add a soft, natural glow to your interior while also ordering the space with an elegant, slim line? Evora combines alabaster and metal in a balanced form that warms the atmosphere, enhances style, and doesn’t overpower the wall.

With a compact diameter of about 6 cm and two heights to choose from, you can easily place it in a hallway, beside the bed, next to a mirror or on an accent wall in the living room. The result? Cohesive, atmospheric light and a detail that looks refined down to every inch.

Why this sconce?

Natural alabaster → softly diffuses light, creates a cozy mood and reduces glare.
Slim, vertical form Ø6 cm → fits even on narrow wall sections and between furniture.
Two heights (19 or 28 cm) → easily match the sconce’s scale to the wall height and layout plan.
Two body finishes → gold warms, black emphasizes contrast and a modern character.
Popular G4 socket → easy choice of LED source or Edison-style bulb.

Design and materials

Evora is the essence of subtle modernity: a vertical cylinder of natural alabaster wrapped in a smooth metal body in gold or black. The white stone shade shows delicate, organic veining - each piece is slightly different, adding authenticity and character to the setting. The proportions are considered: the narrow diameter and clean line make the sconce look light while still having an “architectural” presence. In the gold finish the body subtly reflects light; in black it draws a clear contour on the wall and emphasizes the room’s rhythm.

Light and comfort

Alabaster is known for acting like a natural diffuser: instead of a sharp, focused beam you get pleasant, spread light. Evora gives a gentle halo on the wall and a soft glow to the surroundings that:
- creates a cozy atmosphere in relaxation areas,
- doesn’t tire the eyes during everyday activities,
- works beautifully with main lighting, completing the “layer” of mood lighting.

It’s an ideal choice when you want light that decorates and soothes the space rather than competing with other sources.

Where it fits

• Hallway and staircase: set the wall rhythm by installing several sconces at even intervals; the slim form won’t narrow the passage.
• Bedroom: on both sides of the bed it provides discreet dimness - perfect for evening winding down.
• Living room: beside the sofa, a picture or on the TV wall it introduces a soft accent and highlights textures.
• Entryway: on both sides of a mirror it adds elegance and the natural warmth of stone.
Choose 19 cm when the space is smaller and minimal visual intrusion matters; 28 cm works when you want to more strongly emphasize the vertical and complement a tall wall.

Variants

Size:
∅ 6 cm x Height 19 cm - a compact accent for narrower walls, niches and beside the bed.
∅ 6 cm x Height 28 cm - a more pronounced line for taller rooms, corridors and feature walls.
Color:
Gold and white - warms the scheme, great with natural wood, beiges and warm metals.
Black and white - a modern contrast that orders the composition and plays with charcoals and cool greys.

This lets you build a coherent sequence on the wall (e.g. several sconces of the same height) or deliberately vary proportions and colors to emphasize zones.

Selection tips

Choose the sconce height to suit the wall proportions: 19 cm in smaller rooms and narrower fields, 28 cm in taller and more representative zones.
If mounting a pair beside the bed or mirror, keep symmetry and a clear margin from the edge of the furniture/frame - this keeps the composition looking light and elegant.
The gold finish pairs best with warm light tones and natural materials (wood, linen). The black body emphasizes cooler palettes and modern, graphic combinations.
When placing several sconces along a circulation route, space them evenly so the light halos subtly overlap - you’ll get a cohesive, comfortable effect.

Choose the Evora size and finish that best complements your interior and see how one detail can transform the atmosphere of an entire space.
