Looking for a light that instantly warms up the interior and adds a refined character? Desiderio combines hand-formed Venetian-style glass in a deep amber tone with cool nickel - creating a spectacular focal point for the living or dining room that shines pleasantly and unobtrusively.
This is the lamp you turn on and immediately feel the space become more elegant, composed and welcoming for everyday gatherings.
Why this lamp?
- A strong “wow” effect, but not overdone - layered Venetian-style glass petals build a luxurious, softly opalescent accent.
- Warm amber glow - the glass pleasantly diffuses light, creating an atmosphere conducive to conversation and relaxation.
- Versatile finish - nickel pairs beautifully with light wood, marble, grays and black.
- Thoughtful proportions Ø65 x H65 cm - a diameter that fits most 4-6 person tables and seating areas.
- Easy installation and use - standard E14 sockets and compatibility with typical wall switches.
Design and materials
Desiderio stands out for its layered composition of amber Venetian-style glass “petals,” arranged into a softly cascading, sculptural shape. When you look at the photos, you can see how each element catches the light, giving the whole form a flowing, golden sheen. It’s a detail that needs no additional decoration - it’s jewelry for the interior on its own.
The glass is contrasted by a nickel finish. Its cool, elegant tone balances the warmth of the amber and gives the whole piece a fresh, contemporary look. The metal structure is slim and clean-lined, so the lamp retains visual lightness despite its expressive form.
The Ø65 x H65 cm proportions are harmonious - the shade doesn’t overpower but clearly organizes the space above the table or in the center of the living room, introducing rhythm and symmetry.
Light and comfort
The multilayered Venetian-style glass works like a natural diffuser: it softens point sources and channels them through the amber panes. The result? Soft, warm, inviting light without harsh glares, ideal for long dinners, laptop work or evening relaxation.
The lamp works with LED or Edison bulbs (E14), so you can easily choose the lighting character for the scenario:
- warmer-toned bulbs - for a cozy, atmospheric mood,
- neutral - when you need more functional light for reading or working.
This makes Desiderio both a lamp for daily use and an impressive evening “mood-dimmer” - without compromising visual comfort.
Where it fits
- Dining room: above a round or square 4-6 person table (Ø65 cm nicely defines the zone without blocking conversation).
- Living room: over a coffee table or in the center of the seating area - it will emphasize the furniture layout and add depth to fabric colors.
- Hall/entrance: will create a first, memorable impression (especially in taller spaces with the option to extend the suspension).
- Study: warm amber will add focus and calm, balancing cooler furniture finishes.
You can adjust the suspension height using a 30 cm adjustable chain (extendable on request), which makes it easy to set the lamp perfectly for the room height and function.
Variants

Selection tips
- For a round table choose a lamp diameter roughly 1/2-2/3 of the tabletop diameter - Ø65 cm works well with a table around 100-130 cm.
- Keep a distance of 70-85 cm between the bottom edge of the lamp and the tabletop so the light is comfortable and doesn’t block the view.
- In the living room, hang the lamp so the bottom edge is above eye level in the passage area - you’ll avoid head bumps and glare.
- If the ceiling is high, consider extending the chain - it better “stitches” the space together and adds coziness.
Ready to change the mood of your interior? Choose the “Dark amber & nickel” variant in size Ø65 x H65 cm and adjust the suspension length to your space.
