Ceiling Lights Made of Natural Materials - Flush Mounts and Spotlights

Ceiling lights are the foundation of lighting in any interior - mounted directly on the ceiling, they provide the main light source without taking up valuable space. At Lumiesta, we offer two categories of ceiling lights: flush mounts made of natural materials and spotlights. Stone flush mounts - alabaster, travertine, marble and crystal - are elegant solutions for low and standard ceilings. Spotlights complement the flush mount with precise, directional light.

Ceiling Light for a Low-Ceilinged Room

With ceilings below 250 cm, a flush mount is an ideal solution - adhering directly to the ceiling, it does not visually lower the room. An alabaster flush mount with a 10 cm profile gives beautiful, diffused light, while also playing the role of a decorative natural stone disc. In rooms requiring more precise lighting, combine a flush mount with spotlights - this combination provides layered, functional and aesthetic lighting.

Lumiesta Ceiling Lights - Elegance and Functionality

All our ceiling lights come with a set of mounting elements. See our Shipping page for delivery options and the current free-shipping threshold. Looking for something more elaborate? Check our chandeliers or pendant lights, which perfectly complement ceiling lighting.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do ceiling lights differ from flush mounts?+
A flush mount is a type of ceiling light installed directly to the ceiling - it is flat and flush. Ceiling lighting is a broader concept including flush mounts, but also spotlights and other top-mounted solutions. In our offer you will find both flush mounts made of natural materials, as well as spotlights for more precise light direction.
Which ceiling light will work in a low-ceilinged room?+
With ceilings lower than 250 cm, the best choice are flush mounts attached directly to the ceiling. They do not take up space and do not visually lower the interior. Alabaster or travertine flush mounts give beautiful, diffused light directed downward, while taking up only 8-15 cm in height.
For which room are stone ceiling lights suitable?+
Stone ceiling lights work practically everywhere - in the living room, bedroom, hallway, and even the bathroom (provided they have the appropriate IP rating). They are especially recommended for interiors where you value natural, warm lighting without the dominance of artificial materials. They add elegance and organic character to the space.
How to install a ceiling light on a concrete ceiling?+
For installation on a concrete ceiling, expansion plugs and screws suitable for concrete are needed. Most of our ceiling lights come with a set of mounting elements. Drilling holes in concrete requires a hammer drill with a concrete bit. If you have no experience, we recommend using an electrician.
Can I install spotlights next to a flush mount?+
Absolutely yes - this is a very popular solution. The flush mount acts as the main, decorative lighting, and the spotlights provide additional, directional light where needed. Such a combination allows you to create layered lighting that is both functional and aesthetic.
Are Lumiesta ceiling lights energy efficient?+
Our ceiling lights are adapted to LED bulbs, which consume up to 85% less energy than traditional bulbs. A flush mount with LED bulbs of total power 20W can illuminate a room as effectively as an old 100W bulb. This is saving on electricity bills without giving up the beautiful, warm light of natural materials.
