Travertine-wood flush ceiling light, black and walnut for living room, Ø12 cm

Looking for a small but distinctive lighting accent that will warm the space and add character? Farella combines natural stone, noble wood and metal in a compact form that discreetly lights the interior and elevates its class. It’s the ideal choice when you need focused, cozy light and also want to introduce the authentic texture of natural materials into the design.

Why this lamp?

Natural stone – each piece is unique. Black travertine offers depth and a subtle, porous texture that adds refinement to the interior.
Compact form Ø12 × 9 cm – easy to integrate into a low ceiling, narrow corridor or entry area.
Recessed light source – provides a pleasant, warm glow and reduces glare.
Material pairing – black travertine and dark walnut create an elegant, timeless duo suitable for modern and classic interiors.
Simple operation – the lamp is hardwired and works with a standard wall switch.

Design and materials

Farella is a fitting that stands out for its detail. Black travertine – a stone shaped by nature – displays a unique pattern and characteristic pores, giving the lamp a raw-yet-noble, “earthy” look. Paired with wood in a dark walnut finish, the whole gains harmony: the warmth of the wood softens the pronounced stone form, while the metal elements complete the composition with precision and durability.

The form is small and proportional (Ø12 cm, height 9 cm), which keeps the flush mount visually light. It’s a detail that doesn’t overwhelm – rather it discreetly organizes the space and adds depth. The black travertine shown in the photos draws the eye with a subtle, lava-like surface pattern, making the lamp act like a small sculpture on the ceiling.

Light and comfort

The light source is gently recessed into the fixture. This construction promotes comfort – it limits direct view of the bulb and reduces glare. The result is a soft, warm glow, ideal for creating atmosphere and accentuating the space. Farella works great as lighting:
– accent lighting (brings out textures of walls, paintings, shelves),
– zonal lighting (illuminating an entry, auxiliary countertop, corridor),
– background lighting (a few units will build an even, pleasant light level in the room).

Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose – opt for a warmer one for relaxation or a more neutral one for everyday tasks.

Where it fits

Living room: set a rhythm of several flush mounts along a circulation path, by a wall with a gallery of artworks, or by shelving – you’ll highlight material textures and create layered lighting.
Corridor and hall: the small diameter makes installation easier in narrow passages; a set of units will provide consistent, shadow-free guidance of light.
Bedroom: mount by the entrance, above the wardrobe, or as discreet background lighting in the relaxation area.
Kitchen: a flush mount as a practical, low-profile solution to illuminate work runs or walkways between zones.

Thanks to the subdued palette (black stone + walnut) Farella naturally fits loft, japandi, Scandinavian and classic modern interiors. It’s a material “link” between rawness and coziness.

Variants

Size: ∅ 12 cm x Height 9 cm – a compact option for small spaces, easy to combine in rows and lighting grids.
Color: Black travertine and dark walnut – the contrast and depth of the travertine with the warmth of wood warm the interior without sacrificing elegance.

Selection tips

Planning multiple fixtures? Space them evenly – the rhythm of fixtures from the same series creates cohesion and even lighting in a corridor or entry area.
For relaxation choose a warmer bulb, for tasks a more neutral one; thanks to the GX53 base you can easily match the source to the room’s function.
In low rooms opt for low-profile flush mounts – Ø12 × 9 cm won’t visually weigh down the ceiling.
Remember IP20: avoid moisture-prone zones; in bathrooms install outside wet zones, preferably in dry areas.

Choose natural light with character. Select the Black travertine and dark walnut variant in size Ø12 cm and see how Farella warms and organizes your interior.
