Fader – Black Elliptical Alabaster Wall Lamp

Looking for lighting that both warms a space and highlights the character of a wall? The elliptical wall sconce made of natural alabaster in a contrasting black-and-white combination brings soft, atmospheric light and an elegant line that organizes the composition. It’s a discreet yet distinctive accent—ideal when you want to add class to the interior without excess form.

Why this lamp?

Natural alabaster – subtly diffuses light, reduces glare and creates a cozy atmosphere for relaxing and conversation.
Slim ellipse with a constant width of 15 cm – two heights to choose from (40 or 60 cm) let you maintain proper wall proportions.
Black + White contrast – a black base and light alabaster add depth and modern lightness to the arrangement.
Integrated LED and dimming – lower energy consumption, longer lifespan and fuller control over the mood.
Durable materials: alabaster and brass – a solid structural base and a noble, timeless character.

Design and materials

Fader is a clean, minimalist form: a slim, elliptical shade of natural alabaster set in a modern black body. The white stone with delicate, unique veining creates a subtle play of light and shadow, while the black element emphasizes the fixture’s line and organizes the composition on the wall. With a width of 15 cm the lamp looks light even on narrower wall sections, and the choice of 40 or 60 cm height lets you adapt proportions to the scale of the room.

The construction uses alabaster and brass – a duo valued for aesthetics and durability. Alabaster gives the shade a natural, soft translucency, while brass provides the stability and quality of workmanship you expect from lighting built to last.

Light and comfort

This is a lamp for creating mood: alabaster acts as a natural diffuser – it scatters the beam, softens contrasts and limits glare. The result is a pleasant, enveloping glow that encourages relaxation and showcases wall textures or artworks without harsh shadows. The integrated LED operates efficiently, and thanks to the dimming capability you can adjust the intensity to the time of day and the function of the space. Choose the light color variant (Warm or Cool) to suit your scenario – from evening relaxation to task-oriented background brightening.

Where it fits

Living room – fills in the seating area, backgrounds a gallery of artworks, an accent by a sideboard or shelf.
Bedroom – a pair of sconces on either side of the bed instead of bedside lamps – more surface space and an even, soft glow.
Hallway – rhythmic, calm lighting that guides without tiring the eyes after dark.
Dining room / kitchen – a moody accent on the wall next to the table or island, complementing the main light.
Office/home studio – an elegant light background for video calls and work that doesn’t dominate the space.

Variants – match to your wall

Variant size: Diameter 15cm x Height 40cm – compact, proportional for smaller walls, narrow corridors and for mounting in pairs by the bed.
Variant size: Diameter 15cm x Height 60cm – more pronounced, an impressive vertical line on taller walls and in larger living rooms.
Light color variant: Warm – a cozy, evening atmosphere for relaxation and conversation.
Light color variant: Cool – a clear, energizing background for work, the kitchen or the entryway.
Color variant: Black + White – a modern contrast that pairs easily with light and dark palettes.

Selection tips

Choose the height to match the scale of the wall: 40 cm for smaller surfaces and narrower passages, 60 cm for taller, more representative walls.
If mounting pairs by the bed or mirror, keep symmetry and consistent height relative to a reference point (e.g. the edge of the headboard).
Warm light favors evening relaxation; cool light better highlights details and works well in functional zones.
In a long corridor, place several sconces at equal intervals to achieve a consistent rhythm of light without “gaps” in the illumination.

Choose and order

Select the height and light color in the variants and add Fader to the cart – see how natural alabaster and the elliptical line will change the atmosphere of your interior from the very first lighting.
