Caprius

Are you looking for a small ceiling light that brings the warmth of natural stone and cozy, even light into your interior? Caprius is a ceiling lamp made of black travertine and white glass – compact in size, yet strong in expression. It adds calmness and nobility to a space, especially where simplicity of form and material quality matter.

Caprius discreetly organizes the space: in a corridor, hall or wardrobe it provides soft, reliably diffused light, and thanks to the natural stone it becomes a subtle accent that draws attention up close.

Why this lamp?

• Natural black travertine – each piece has unique pores and veining, so you get a one-of-a-kind detail in the interior.
• Compact dimensions (Ø 15 × 16 cm) – it fits comfortably in lower rooms and narrow corridors.
• White opal glass – softly diffuses light, improves visual comfort and builds a cozy atmosphere.
• Simple, timeless form – easy to pair with wood, stone, concrete or black steel.
• Ceiling mounting and fixed wiring – a clean, durable effect without visible cables.

Design and materials

Caprius combines the massive, mineral character of black travertine with a light, milky glass globe. The upper part is formed by a stone hemisphere with natural porosity – those small, irregular structures give the fixture an organic, “tactile” character. Below appears a smooth, white glass sphere that gently contrasts the stone’s texture and evenly disperses light.

The proportions are balanced: diameter 15 cm and height 16 cm create a compact, elegant shape – bold enough to add class to a room, yet subtle enough not to overwhelm. Metal structural elements stabilize the whole and ensure secure ceiling mounting. The combination of materials – metal, black travertine and white glass – makes Caprius naturally suit modern, japandi, loft, as well as classic, calm interiors.

Light and comfort

The white opal shade acts as a diffuser: it scatters the beam and softens contrasts, making the light easy on the eyes. In a corridor or hall you’ll achieve an even, “soft” glow that welcomes residents and guests without harsh shadows. Caprius works with G9 bulbs (LED or Edison), so you can easily choose the light character to suit the function of the area – from a cozy glow in the entry zone to brighter illumination for daily circulation.

Where it fits

• Corridor and entryway – a single lamp tidies a small vestibule; several in series create a coherent rhythm of light along a long run.
• Wardrobe and niches – the compact 16 cm height doesn’t intrude into the space or catch on door wings.
• Bedroom – as a discreet ceiling light it creates a gentle, calming aura, especially alongside natural materials.
• Kitchen (passage area) – evenly lights traffic routes; pairs well with black fittings and steel details.
• Small living room or entrance zone – adds a stone accent without dominating the arrangement.

In moisture-prone areas (bathroom) choose zones away from direct contact with water, in accordance with the fixture’s IP rating.

Variants

• Size: ∅ 5.9″ x Height 6.3″ (approx. Ø 15 × 16 cm)
• Color: Black Travertine & White

This is a universal format for most corridors and small rooms. If you like consistency, use several Caprius fixtures in a row – you’ll get a uniform, elegant guidance of light.

Selection tips

• For low ceilings choose fixtures with small height – the 16 cm Caprius works great in corridors and passage areas.
• In a long corridor consider installing several lamps in a repeating rhythm; you’ll achieve an even light level and a cohesive look.
• Match the G9 bulb color temperature to the area’s function: warmer for relaxation, more neutral for daily circulation.
• Pair black travertine with natural materials (wood, stone, textiles) – you’ll emphasize the interior’s organic character.

Ready for a subtle stone accent and cozy light in everyday areas? Choose the Black Travertine & White variant, add Caprius to your cart and see how the atmosphere of your interior changes.
