Nizzara — wall sconce in black travertine and walnut Ø4 × 12 cm

Looking for a light that precisely illuminates reading, desk work, or highlights artwork — without dominating the decor? Nizzara combines natural stone, a warm wood tone and flexible adjustment to give exactly the amount of light where and when you need it. It’s a compact fixture that brings the calm of nature and the functionality of modern lighting into your interior.

Why this lamp?

Precise, directional light — you point the beam exactly where you work or read.
Natural travertine and walnut wood — an elegant contrast and unique texture that warms the space.
Compact head Ø4 × 12 cm — a discreet form, ideal for smaller walls, beside the bed, next to the sofa and in hallways.
Flexible dark metal arm — instant adjustment of the beam angle in a second.
G9 standard and AC 110–240 V power — easy selection of an LED bulb and compatibility with common installations.

Design and materials

Nizzara delights with a balanced composition of textures. A round wall base in walnut adds a cozy, natural accent. From it extends a gooseneck-type flexible arm in dark metal — practical, minimalist and durable for everyday use. The head is a compact cylindrical element in black travertine (Ø4 × 12 cm): the rough, stone texture gives the fixture depth while the slim proportions provide visual lightness.

Travertine forms in a natural environment — each piece has a unique pattern and porosity, creating an authentic, “living” detail in the interior. The combination of black stone and warm walnut makes the sconce suitable for contemporary and loft styles as well as calm Scandinavian interiors.

Light and comfort

Nizzara works with G9 bulbs (LED or Edison bulb), giving you the freedom to choose power and color temperature for the task. The head maintains the character of a spot — a directional source that illuminates a selected point without flooding the whole room. The flexible arm allows quick adjustment of the beam angle so the light hits a book, keyboard or artwork, not the eyes. The result? Comfort, no glare and precision where you need it.

IP20 rating and wall-mounted hardwired installation make this solution intended for residential interiors — bedroom, living room, study or hallway.

Where it fits

Bedroom: two sconces on either side of the bed create independent reading lights. You can aim the beam so it won’t disturb your partner.
Living room: by the sofa or armchair in a reading corner — always available, discreet light without taking up space on a side table.
Study/home office: above the desk or to the side of shelves to illuminate documents, the keyboard or the video call area.
Hallway/gallery: as accent lighting that will emphasize wall texture, photo frames or paintings.

The small head size (Ø4 × 12 cm) allows mounting Nizzara where other fixtures seem too bulky — e.g., between shelves, close to the headboard or above a narrow console.

Variants

Size: ∅ 1.6″ x Height 4.7″ (Ø4 × 12 cm) — compact head ideal for reading and accent functions.
Color: Black Travertine & Walnut Color — an elegant duo of natural finishes, easy to pair with black, steel and warm woods.

Tips for choosing

For reading in bed, mount so the beam falls slightly in front of the line of sight — this increases comfort and reduces glare.
At a desk, place the sconce on the side opposite your dominant hand (right-handed — on the left, left-handed — on the right) to avoid shadows.
For relaxation use a G9 LED bulb with a warmer color temperature (e.g. about 2700–3000 K); for work — a more neutral one (e.g. about 3500–4000 K).
As accent lighting, aim the beam at an angle to the plane of the artwork or decoration to reduce reflections and emphasize texture.

Ready for a functional accent with character?

Choose the Nizzara variant and add natural stone, the warmth of wood and the convenience of precise light to your interior exactly where you need it.
