Lyra – Stylish Black Square Alabaster Ceiling Lamp

Looking for a light that both organizes the space and adds a touch of class? Lyra combines a black, modern form with natural alabaster, providing soft, pleasant illumination and an elegant accent for the living room, dining room, bedroom, or study. It’s a flush mount that doesn’t compete with the decor – it harmonizes and highlights it.

With two sizes and a choice of light color, you can easily adapt the lamp to the room size, style, and function. You get consistent lighting, eye comfort, and a beautiful, timeless aesthetic.

Why this lamp?

Natural alabaster – softly diffuses light, creating an atmospheric mood and reducing glare.
Square flush mount – evenly illuminates the space and brings order to the ceiling composition.
Black body + brass – a modern, striking accent and a durable construction.
LED: Yes – energy-efficient in use, no need to source bulbs separately.
Two sizes and two light colors – precise adaptation to the room size and desired mood.

Design and materials

Lyra is a square ceiling form where the black body emphasizes the geometric line, and the alabaster shade introduces softness and visual balance. The natural stone beautifully diffuses the light, giving it a subtle, creamy character. Brass construction elements ensure solid workmanship and a pleasant sense of quality.

The lamp’s proportions are well considered – both the smaller and larger variants appear light on the ceiling while still creating a clear, central focal point. The square shape works particularly well where you want to emphasize ordered lines: above a table, in line with a sofa, centered in a bedroom, or in a hallway.

Light and comfort

Alabaster acts as a natural diffuser – it scatters the light, providing even, soft illumination without harsh contrasts. Choosing the Warm color builds coziness and relaxation (evenings in the living room, atmospheric bedroom). The Cool option supports concentration and sharpens detail perception (work, tidying, kitchen prep). LED provides everyday convenience – you switch it on and immediately have stable, consistent light.

Where it fits

Dining room – centered above the table; the square shape nicely „frames“ the tabletop composition and helps evenly light the entire surface.
Living room – a central flush mount creates calm, zoned lighting; great above a coffee table or as the main lighting for the seating area.
Kitchen – above an island or work area when you prefer a flush mount over a pendant; easy to keep clean and maintains freedom of movement.
Bedroom – soft, non-glaring light for everyday use; the warm color creates an atmosphere conducive to winding down.
Hallway and office – clean geometry introduces order, and the diffused LED helps avoid harsh shadows.

Variants

Diameter 40cm x Height 40cm – a neat size for smaller rooms, low ceilings, or above 4–6-person tables.
Diameter 50cm x Height 50cm – a more pronounced accent for larger spaces and wider tabletops.
Light color variant: Warm – cozy, evening ambiance; ideal for living rooms and bedrooms.
Light color variant: Cool – more dynamic, „work“ light; suitable for kitchens or studies.
Variant color: White – a universal, bright finish that pairs easily with the black frame and most interior palettes.

Selection tips

In lower rooms and smaller spaces, the 40 cm size usually looks better; in spacious living rooms and dining rooms – 50 cm.
Above a table 140–180 cm wide, 40 cm typically works well; for 180–220 cm, 50 cm is more often chosen.
Choose the Warm color for relaxation zones (living room, bedroom); Cool for work and the kitchen.
The black body nicely organizes compositions with black details in the interior (handles, frames, tables); alabaster adds softness and balances the contrast.

Choose your variant

Select the size and light color that best suit your space, and add Lyra to the cart – see how one light can organize and warm an entire interior.
