Kratavio – travertine ceiling lamp with walnut, for corridor, Ø10×16 cm

Are you looking for a compact light point that combines natural materials with modern simplicity? Kratavio uses the raw beauty of black travertine and the warmth of walnut wood to illuminate a corridor, entrance or alcove – while adding character to the interior. It’s a small fixture with a strong expression: subtle in form, distinctive in appearance.

Why this lamp?

Natural stone and walnut in one fixture – you get a timeless combination of textures that warms modern arrangements and adds depth to minimalist spaces.
Compact Ø10 × 16 cm – easy to fit to low ceilings and narrow circulation routes without creating an „overwhelming“ effect.
Downward directional light – ideal for accenting zones (e.g. a console in the hall, a picture, a section of countertop) and creating mood without glare.
Ceiling or wall mounting – one form, two uses: a ceiling spot or an elegant wall sconce.
Universal compatibility E26/E27 and voltage 110–240 V – easy bulb selection and installation in different countries.

Design and materials

Kratavio combines two worlds: the sculptural, porous texture of black travertine and the soft grain of walnut. The dark stone body has a naturally „cratered“ surface that beautifully reacts to light – revealing the material’s history and formation in nature. The walnut accent above the stone element introduces a visual contrast and a pleasant, organic warmth. Metal details stabilize the whole and complete the fixture’s simple, clean line.

The proportions are intentionally restrained: a 10 cm diameter and 16 cm height create a compact volume that scales well in a row (e.g. a sequence along a corridor), but also holds its own as a single piece. The photos show how the stone texture „lives“ in the light – the closer to the fixture, the more you notice the play of shadows in the natural pores of the travertine. It’s a detail that makes a difference when you want a discreet but expressive light decoration.

Light and comfort

The Kratavio design directs the light beam downward. As a result:
– it does not dazzle from the side – the side surfaces of the stone remain opaque,
– it nicely emphasizes what is beneath it (console, seating in the hall, part of the wall),
– it allows you to build lighting scenes: a single accent or a rhythmic series of points.

You control the lighting effect – the fixture works with LED bulbs or Edison-style bulbs on an E26 or E27 base. A warm color will emphasize the naturalness of the stone and wood, while neutral will suit functional areas like the kitchen or home office.

Where it fits

Corridor and entrance: set a rhythm of 2–3 points to safely guide with light and give the hall a hotel-like touch.
Kitchen: as a point above a section of countertop or in a row above a passage; downward-directed light supports work and clarity of perception.
Living room: an accent above a side table, by a bookshelf or a picture – it warms and highlights material textures.
Bedroom: as a sconce on both sides of the bed – it decorates the wall and creates a calm mood for evening unwinding.
Stairs: mounted on the wall it marks the direction and increases comfort when moving in the dark.

With the option of ceiling or wall mounting you can design a coherent light narrative throughout the interior – from the hall, through circulation, to the living area.

Variants

Size: ∅ 10 cm x Height 16 cm – a compact perfect for repeating in sequence or as a single accent.

Selection tips

Planning a corridor? Instead of one very powerful point, it’s better to place several smaller ones – you’ll get even, comfortable brightness without harsh shadows.
As a sconce, mount it so the light falls on the area you want to highlight (e.g. countertop, console, artwork), and position the fixture out of the line of sight when walking.
For relaxation areas choose a warmer light color, for work – a more neutral one; E26/E27 bulbs offer wide selection options.
Want more general light? Combine Kratavio with other sources (e.g. a central ceiling light) – the fixture works best as an accent and complement.

Choose Kratavio, add the noble texture of stone and the warmth of walnut to your arrangement – and see how one well-crafted detail can change the atmosphere of an entire interior.
