Verty - Vertical travertine wall sconce with globe shades 95 cm

Design and materials

Verty is based on a simple, timeless idea: a vertical line of natural travertine becomes a backdrop for glass globe shades. This makes the lamp look clean and light while bringing a noble material into the interior. The beige stone, with visible veining and subtle pores, creates a lively, organic texture — no two pieces are identical, so you get an element that is truly yours.

It’s a form that “calms” the wall: the vertical line organizes the composition, while the rounded globes add softness. The 13 cm diameter ensures the lamp does not dominate but elegantly marks its presence — it pairs well with smooth plasters, veneers and stone. In the 95 cm version it creates a striking architectural accent; the shorter variants are ideal where you need delicate but high-quality light.

Where it fits

• Hallway and stairwell — the vertical rhythm organizes long wall runs; use singly at turns or in sequences along circulation paths.
• Living room — beside the sofa, a bookshelf or fireplace as an atmospheric backdrop and a detail that visually raises the room’s height.
• Bedroom — on both sides of the bed or by a mirror; the subtle glow from the milky globes promotes evening relaxation.
• Dining room — on the wall by a buffet/sideboard; warm, diffused light emphasizes textures and tableware.
• Kitchen and home office — an elegant lighting accent by a shelf, console or noticeboard — adds depth and builds a work/relax atmosphere.
