Makalu – Alabaster floor lamp, modern 45×160 cm

Looking for light that both creates atmosphere and elevates the room’s class? Makalu combines the natural, softly diffused glow of alabaster with the elegance of brass, creating atmospheric zonal lighting and a distinct, modern accent. It’s a lamp that organizes space, visually warms it, and highlights the character of your living room, bedroom, or study.

Why this lamp?

Natural alabaster – each shade has a unique pattern; the light is soft, cozy, and gentle on the eyes.
Brass, gold finish – adds a noble touch to interiors and harmonizes with modern materials.
LED light and dimming – you use energy-efficient lighting and can adjust its mood to the moment.
Three shades – multipoint glow fills the space evenly without dominating it.
Dimension 45×160 cm – the slim, proportionate form fits both large and medium rooms.

Design and materials

Makalu is a combination of three alabaster shades and a brass structure in the color Gold / Brass. Alabaster – a stone with a subtle, semi-transparent structure – creates a characteristic veined pattern. Because of this, each piece is one of a kind, and the light gains natural depth and softness.

The golden, brass elements give the lamp an elegant, jewelry-like accent. The slim silhouette with a height of 160 cm and a diameter of 45 cm maintains modern proportions: it is present in the arrangement but does not overwhelm. The geometric arrangement of the shades organizes the line of sight and builds a visual rhythm that works well with simple sofas, lightweight armchairs, or minimalist shelving.

Light and comfort

The lamp uses a integrated LED light source and offers two color temperature variants: Warm and Cool. The warm tone creates a relaxing aura for evening rest, while the cooler one promotes freshness and concentration.

Alabaster diffuses light evenly, softening contrasts and creating a welcoming mood without harsh glare.
Dimming capability allows smooth transition from atmospheric to functional lighting — depending on the moment’s needs.
Efficient LEDs combine low energy consumption with a comfortable amount of light for daily use.

Where it fits

Living room – place it by a corner or an armchair. It will create a reading and conversation area, highlighting the textures of fabrics and wood.
Bedroom – put it by a dressing table or in a corner by the curtains to achieve a soft, evening glow.
Dining room – it will illuminate a sideboard, display cabinet, or painting; bringing out details of tableware and warming the atmosphere of gatherings.
Study/home office – it introduces calm, focusing light in the relaxation area or near an extra seat.
Hallway – as a decorative light point that gives a representational character to the first impression.

Variants

Color temperature variant: Warm – ideal for relaxation, evening conversations, and creating a cozy atmosphere.
Color temperature variant: Cool – better for work, emphasizing modern surfaces and an optical « refresh » of the space.
Size variant: Diameter 45cm x Height 160cm – a slim format that works well by a sofa, in a living room corner, and by glazed walls.

Combine with textures: alabaster works beautifully with wood, fabrics and matte surfaces, warming the perception of the space.
Build layers of light: Makalu is ideal as zonal lighting — combine it with main lighting and decorative points for the full effect.

Choose your variant

Choose the natural glow of alabaster and the elegance of brass. Select the light color that best supports the function of your space, and add Makalu to your cart — see how the atmosphere of the interior changes from the first switch-on.
