Are you looking for a compact light point that combines natural materials with modern simplicity? Kratavio uses the raw beauty of black travertine and the warmth of walnut wood to illuminate a corridor, entrance or alcove – while adding character to the interior. It’s a small fixture with a strong expression: subtle in form, distinctive in appearance.

Design and materials

Kratavio combines two worlds: the sculptural, porous texture of black travertine and the soft grain of walnut. The dark stone body has a naturally « cratered » surface that beautifully reacts to light – revealing the material’s history and formation in nature. The walnut accent above the stone element introduces a visual contrast and a pleasant, organic warmth. Metal details stabilize the whole and complete the fixture’s simple, clean line.

The proportions are intentionally restrained: a 10 cm diameter and 16 cm height create a compact volume that scales well in a row (e.g. a sequence along a corridor), but also holds its own as a single piece. The photos show how the stone texture « lives » in the light – the closer to the fixture, the more you notice the play of shadows in the natural pores of the travertine.
