This is a fixture that looks light yet still “anchors” the room’s composition. The natural stone warms modern interiors, while the minimalist shape easily fits living rooms, dining rooms and kitchens.
Barcelis is a narrow, elongated beam of natural yellow travertine whose simple form highlights the material. The photos show subtle, irregular veining and porosity of the stone – each piece has a unique pattern, making the lamp a discreet but distinct decorative accent.
The body is suspended on thin, almost invisible cables, creating the impression of a light “board of light” floating above the surface. The underside is finished in white (Shade Finish: White), which complements the minimalist character and visually tidies the whole – the stone plays the lead role while the other elements recede.
The proportions of 120 × 9 cm make the profile look slim, yet substantial enough to nicely complete a composition above a longer table. Natural stone is combined here with metal to create a solid, balanced fixture that suits both modern interiors and more classic ones where you seek an organic accent.
The integrated LEDs create a clean, compact line of downward-directed light – ideal for illuminating work and dining surfaces. The uniform white shade/finish on the underside helps achieve an even band of light along the entire beam, which supports comfortable reading, working and shared meals.
The light color according to the LED specification can be 3000K (warm), 4000K (neutral) or 6000K (cool). In the variant shown on the site the Warm color was used – cozy and homely, especially recommended for relaxation zones and dining rooms. Regardless of the chosen color temperature, you get consistent, effective illumination of a long surface without random “patches” of light.
In practice Barcelis works best with longer, rectangular surfaces. The slim, “architectural” line organizes perspective and visually lengthens the room.
This size works as a dominant lamp above a longer table or island – a single element, an even line of light, a cohesive effect in the interior.
