Cortina

Looking for a lamp that both brightens and «dresses» an interior in elegance? Cortina combines the shine of metal and glass in the form of a light, cascading curtain. It provides pleasantly diffused light, organizes the space above the table or in the living room, and becomes a refined focal point for the whole arrangement.

Why this lamp?

Glass curtain – layered glass tubes catch and soften the light, giving you a soft glow effect without harsh glare.
Finishes that play with the interior – gold warms and highlights glamour, nickel brings order and cools modern arrangements, the “Red Cloud” variant adds an artistic touch.
Two heights with the same diameter Ø66 cm – makes it easier to match proportions to ceiling height and room scale.
Easy adjustment – suspension with approx. 30 cm adjustment (can be extended on request) and E14 fittings allow you to choose bulbs for the effect you like.
Customization option – possible modifications of size, finish color, number of light sources and chain length; quick communication with the designer.

Design and materials

Cortina is built from multiple rows of glass tubes suspended around a metal body. This arrangement creates the effect of a light curtain – visually «airing» the form while still providing a clear, decorative presence above a table or in the center of a room. In the photos you can see glass elements with a clear, subtly textured surface that gently refract rays and create a luminous, soft pattern on the walls.

Metal body in gold or nickel finish (also listed in the body finish specification as Nickel and Copper).
Glass tubes in the “Transparent” version – clean, fresh light – or in the moody “Red Cloud” when you want to add a distinctive note to the interior.

The proportions are considered: a fixed, comfortable diameter Ø66 cm organizes the composition of the space, and two heights to choose from (68 or 75 cm) let you match the vertical profile of the lamp to ceiling height and the character of the interior – from lower living rooms to tall halls.

Light and comfort

Cortina shines evenly and softly. The glass tubes act as natural diffusers – they scatter and “calm” the light, so:
– above the table guests can see each other without glaring spots,
– in the living room you’ll get a cozy, cinematic mood,
– in a hall the light will fill the space with a subtle, welcoming glow.

The lamp works with LED or Edison bulbs (E14 base). In practice this means you can shape the final effect easily by choosing the light color (warm/neutral) and the bulb itself – a filament will add atmosphere, while a modern LED will provide energy efficiency and even emission.

Where it fits

Dining room: great above a table for 4–8 people. Ø66 cm keeps proportions and doesn’t overwhelm conversation.
Living room: hang it in the center of the seating area – it will tie sofa, coffee table and rug together with one elegant axis of light.
Hall/staircase: choose the taller version (75 cm) so the lamp’s verticality plays nicely with the height and reads well from a distance.
Study or elegant boutique: the “Nickel & Transparent” variant organizes modern, minimalist spaces; “Gold & Red Cloud” introduces a unique, artistic accent.

Small tip: when choosing the lamp height, think about how you want to «draw» the vertical in the room – the lower body (68 cm) is more discreet, the higher one (75 cm) accentuates the zone more strongly.

Variants

Sizes (same diameter, different heights):
– ∅ 26″ x Height 26.8″ – visually lighter, great for lower ceilings or where you want more «breathing» space between the lamp and the room.
– ∅ 26″ x Height 29.5″ – slightly more vertically expressive, ideal for taller rooms or as a stronger accent above a table.

Glass colors and finishes:
– Gold & Transparent – warms the interior, adds shine and subtle jewelry-like detail.
– Nickel & Transparent – a cool, modern accent for minimalist arrangements.
– Gold & Red Cloud – artistic, moody character; great for evening, scenographic atmosphere.
– Nickel & Red Cloud – bold yet orderly accent in a modern space.

Selection tips

Over a table 140–180 cm the Ø66 cm looks proportionate and does not dominate conversation. On a smaller table it keeps lightness; on a larger one it becomes an elegant center.
In lower rooms choose the lower height (26.8″), in higher rooms the 29.5″ so the form plays better with the space.
If warm textiles and brass dominate the scheme – go for “Gold & Transparent”. Minimalist, cool palettes feel better with nickel.
Do you like an evening, moody atmosphere? Consider the “Red Cloud” glass and warm LED or filament bulbs.
