Design and materials

This is a lamp you can feel in the detail. The body is a low cylinder made of black travertine — a natural stone with a porous, subtly matte texture. Each piece is slightly different due to veining and micro‑pores typical of travertine. This natural “randomness” makes the lamp look like a stone jewel suspended above the table.

In the central part of the body there is a wooden ring in a Dark walnut finish. The warm walnut tone counterpoints the deep black of the stone, softening its rawness and adding a gentle, welcoming character. Metal details and a simple black adjustable cord complete the look. The proportions are compact and ordered — a 17 cm diameter and 12.5 cm height provide an elegant, modest volume that does not overwhelm the space.
