This one treats the ceiling differently: 7 cm of height, yellow stone with a visible grain, and a jute cord that takes the technical chill out of the fitting. The light is warm and diffused, so the ceiling gets a soft accent instead of yet another bright spot.
Under a flat shade it is the surface that does the work, not the form – that is the principle governing this entire travertine ceiling light. The yellow travertine is matt and slightly porous: small pits and streaks run irregularly across it, so up close the fitting looks like a piece of stone rather than a catalogue component. Around this body the jute cord opens out, introducing a lighter, fibrous accent and tidying the edge. Acrylic completes the set of materials and is responsible for diffusing the light, so nothing reflects harshly off the ceiling. The scale is deliberately small: 7 cm of height makes this a fitting that does not try to dominate the interior.
In practice, a warm colour temperature is the difference between light you want to stay in the room with and light that makes you reach for another source after a few minutes. The integrated LED shines evenly, with no spot reflections, because the acrylic diffuses the beam before it even leaves the fitting. You do not choose a bulb or a wattage – the fitting has its own permanent light source, and the whole thing runs on 230V, that is, on standard mains power in Polish homes. A practical tip: at 7 cm high, the fitting sits right up against the ceiling, so it looks best where it does not compete with several other light points. In the evening it leaves a calm, warm glow with no cold dominant note.
