This is a sconce with a monolithic, “sculpted” character: a rectangular block finished in black travertine, with light subtly emanating from the bottom. The photos show the porosity and non-uniform stone structure – these are features of natural travertine, meaning each piece has an individual pattern. The minimalist form without unnecessary details maintains an architectural discipline and fits perfectly into modern interiors, while also contrasting nicely with warm wood cladding.
The metal base provides a solid wall mount, and the uniform “Black Travertine” finish on the body and “shade” creates a cohesive whole.
