Sparta - Conical wall lamp in travertine and wood

Design and materials

Sparta is a combination of natural stone with the warmth of wood and a minimalist metal line. The conical shade of beige travertine is a visual focal point – its smooth form looks noble on both light and dark walls. The transition from stone to walnut wood and then to a black metal detail produces a harmonious, balanced effect.

The sconce’s proportions (diameter 15 cm, height 20 cm) make it visually «breathe» on the wall: it is distinct enough to serve as an accent and subtle enough not to dominate. This is a form that looks good alone – above a dresser, mirror, or table – and in repetition, creating a rhythm, for example, in a corridor or along a long living-room wall.

Where it fits

• Living room – placed on both sides of a sofa or bookshelf it will introduce balance and highlight wall texture.
• Bedroom – as bedside sconces it frees up nightstand surfaces and provides gentle light for evening reading.
• Hallway and staircase – arranged rhythmically it will introduce order and safely illuminate circulation routes.
• Dining room/kitchen – as an accent by a console, shelf or niche it complements the main ceiling lighting.
• Office – gently lights the work area without excessive contrast and reflections.

Practical tip: choose the number of sconces according to the length of the wall and the function of the zone. Above a piece of furniture a symmetrical pair looks best; on a long corridor a repeating rhythm works well, guiding the eye and organizing the space.
